A rare excursion to Burnham Jct. on the Belfast and Moosehead Lake is returning to Brooks as it passes through Unity, Maine. 70-tonner BML 53, the caboose, foliage, and pizza sign provide this scene with its fair share of red. Is it just me or does the 'buy one, get two free' pizza deal seem a little too good to be real?
With Raevyn and Chris in charge, young women in cornrows and young men in Afros lock arms, demonstrating mutual respect and a strong sense of unity as they pull each other forward.

It was a busy day today...doing some promo work for a brochure for Year 10 High School Art Works and visited my other daughter in one of her art classes at her High School. The students were happy for me to photograph this. They were wonderful with their honesty, free uncomplicated spirit and unity. This says so much, don't you agree?

The Unity Buildings in Liverpool, England consist of the 86 m (282 ft) tall Unity Residential and 64 m (210 ft) Unity Commercial. They are respectively 27 and 16 storeys tall and the city's eighth and thirteenth tallest buildings (although typically speaking, the towers are one entity as they are both connected to one another).[1] The buildings are located immediately within Liverpool city centre on Chapel Street and were completed in 2007. As the names suggest, the taller of the two towers consists primarily of flats and residential units, whilst the smaller tower is primarily office space. Prior to the construction of the Unity Buildings, another project was tipped for development on the same site. The 145 metres (476 ft) 40 storey building was to be called 'Capital Exchange', however it was scrapped in favour of the Unity Buildings.[
Awards
The Unity Buildings alongside Palestra in London won the Royal Institute of British Architects' annual tall buildings awards in 2007, the RIBA described the towers as follows: "arrangement minimises any interruption to views of the Mersey and allows Unity, with its Dazzle Camouflage patterns."

This is a black and white version of the Unity school. The school is over 100 years old. If you look through my photo stream you will see that I rarely convert images to B&W. This is because I usually like the color version better. However, on rare occasion I like the B&W version better. This is one such instance and I feel this version does the image more justice and has more mood to it.

I had just looked out my front window and saw this colour...when I went outside I could not believe my eyes as this rainbow was perfect...totally complete...I had never seen one like it before...
after rushing back inside to grab my camera it was still there and remained for well over 10minutes just hanging there over my neighborers house and my front garden...
I was not going to upload them until I saw what Fe 108Aums and Elwetrisch had done...
After I saw at the exact same time rainbow images from Fe 108Aums and Elwetrischs I just had to share mine...
so this collage is in honour of these two wonderful Flickr friends on the other side of the world...
these are the words shared by Fe 108Aums...Elwetrische, she is the person who introduced me to Flickr, and lives 10-minute walking distance from here. And what a blessing Flickr is. I so much enjoy extending my vision seeing through the eyes of others all around the world. Amazing.
What sychronicity with the rainbow. Actually, I had such a STRONG feeling of connection, a triangle between Elwetrische, you and me, that the image of the rainbow circling this world came to me just as I was entering my night sleep. A rainbow circle around this earth. The thought was so delightful! I thought it was amazing that my house was encircled completely by this rainbow that I had to stand outside the whole time while the rainbow was out, feeling like a young child, in utter amazement at the beauty and awe of the rainbow at dusk. It was a strong feeling of connection with you all. ...

# Boys from Papua and Java
I met these boys at Demak Education Expo.
They said they were students of Latansa *Latansa (Aribic) means not to forgot* Yunior High School
They was perform a Javanese-Sumatra traditional martial art called Pencak Silat.
But what make me interested is, their unity in diversity.
Some came from Papua-eastern Indonesia, some were Javanese-West and Central.
Different races, colors skin, and Island where they born, also different tongue to speak Indonesia, were melt when they play together.
But when I ask them for a photo, the Papua boys seems shy.
They were a bit afraid to watch straight to my lens!
Or perhaps afraid of me?
Oh well, dear.. I am not that frightening!
As a teacher, I did want to protest to their teacher, how did you educate their personality?
Nothing to afraid for!
Nothing to shame!
Where ever you came, we live in one earth in equality.
As our nation motto, Bhineka Tunggal Ika ~ Unity in diversity.

"The palate colors had to be the PanAm colors red, green blue, white and my theme was 'unity' so this was the end result after 3.5 hours of work, not including the set up of the canvas.

Police seized 41 vehicles during a two-day traffic operation earlier this week.
Officers were out in force with partner agencies as part of Operation Unity, which targeted a range of offences on the roads.
Check sites were set up in Gorton, Eastlands, Bolton and Manchester and during the course of the two days 575 vehicles were stopped.
Twelve vehicles were seized for being used illegally in the UK, 24 vehicles were seized for no insurance, two were seized for being driven without a licence and three were seized by the DVLA.
Police also issued 100 Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) to motorists, including 43 to drivers using a mobile phone and 16 for seatbelt offences.
The Drive & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) issued 55 prohibitions to commercial drivers for vehicle defects.
One vehicle was dealt with for red diesel, six taxi drivers were suspended and a 50-year old man was arrested on suspicion of two robberies in Tameside and remains in police custody for questioning.
Sergeant Garry Lyle from GMP’s Traffic Enforcement Unit said: “Partners and officers came together over the last two days to target offenders and send a stark reminder out to motorists that we will not let them compromise the safety of others on our roads.
“The Traffic Enforcement Unit deals with offences such as these on a daily basis but not to the same extent. We’re really grateful to our partners for assisting us throughout the operation and look forward to doing more of the same in the very near future.”

Once again the great unity federation shows itself from years of deep space exploration! Since it took years, the federation has equipped its army with a new Standard Issue Weapon the USIW (Unity Standard Issue Weapon).
