With one of their 70 tonners down, the Belfast & Moosehead Lake borrowed Pan Am's Maine Central heritage unit for a weekend to run their fairground shuttles to the Common Ground fair. She's seen here crossing Route 139 in Unity, about the pull up to the station to let off passengers returning from the fair. They'll make a couple more roundtrips to the fair and back before calling it a night, and tying the set down by the station. On the adjacent track is an old Maine Central plow, and two rusty Bangor & Aroostook reefers, from that railroads potato hauling days.
It is the simplest of principles, it is the most difficult of principles.
Let us first be clear on what unity does not mean: it does not mean uniformity. Unity is oneness. Diversity lends strength to any group of people. Unity binds together diverse elements so that, by virtue of their many strengths, the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

The Osborne neighborhood in Lake Worth has been settled since the turn of the century. Until the 1950s, it was the neighborhood where Lake Worth's African-American residents were forced by city codes to live. This wall was the dividing line between black and white, and was originally built as a wall of separation.
Thanks to a community project in 1993, it was renamed the "Unity Wall" and painted over with murals for its entire three-block length.
In spite of the upbeat name and pretty pictures, I still find it a sad place to visit.

Description • Game runs like crap. Constant pop-in, horrible framerate at 1080p (I have a GTX 980), LoD issues a plenty, borderless window does not work (leaves huge black bars on both sides and squeezes the image). At 4K I get maybe 3 frames per second. Plus at that res physics go cray-cray. Clothes expand and stretch, faces look like something out of a Aphex Twin music video, hair can't be contained, it's glitches out everywhere on the screen. Maybe it's PhysX related, but I can't seem to disable it anywhere. And this is game version 1.5, can't imagine how it must've felt to play this game when it came out.
But yeah the world is really nice and immersive. I did enjoy my time today.

hahaha anyways enjoy this beauty.its actually some pimped up hk417 that fires plasma that is stored in a cartridge that is within a cartridge? mag? hahaha anyways it has got 20 rounds of plasma awsomeness. the blocky thing on top is the smart aim device which has the calculative power to significantly increase hit rate at extreme distances. it syncs with combat helmet too! so all that tech stuff get displayed like those sci fi HUDs :D
Interesting how Unity, Duty, and Destiny are warped by the Mask of Control. The Three Virtues were not that significant in G2 of Bionicle (as far as I remember??), but it's particularly intriguing how the sets still allow Umarak to unify with a Creature that would be otherwise good.
Took a purposely fuzzy picture of a pink metal Christmas tree so I could get this "twinkle" effect and put it in Photoshop. Made a duplicate layer, rotated that layer, changed the hue to blue on the second layer, lowered its opacity so the two layers would "blend" and messed with the contrast a little bit.

The three females and two males would fall if not for their cooperation, trust and collective effort. Thus, the title "Unity".
The sculpture consists of stainless steel plates, each held 1 inch apart.

Together In Unity – to all our American friends – Together We Stand.
I hope so much that the economy will improve , war will end and we all can find common ground.
This is Peace Arch on the Canada – USA border in sort of no-man's land . I used to go shopping to US often but not in few years. I just HATE how everyone is assumed to be a criminal , all the questions …. why , where , how long …. smile here is a big guy with a rubber glove. Last year I was returning on the long flight to Vancouver and … Canada Border Services gives me litany of questions and I politely answered few of them but when he started to ask me why I was traveling by myself only and so one - I just had enough and give him my 5 cents.
“
- Look ! It has be really long day , I have nothing to declare , all my paper work is in order , you can send me to be searched – I really don't care. I have 2 passports Canadian and Polish . Would you like to know what I was told by Polish Customs offices when I arrived in Poland ?
- What ?
- Welcome home ! … and than that fellow smiled . How difficult would it be for you guys to learn something like that !
- Go ! Just go !
and he gave me my passport

Unity Temple is a Unitarian Universalist church in Oak Park, Illinois, and the home of the Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation. It was designed by the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and built between 1905 and 1908. Unity Temple is considered to be one of Wright's most important structures dating from the first decade of the twentieth century. (Wikipedia)

Maybe a more prominent and secure neighborhood is your cup of tea. Well then the beautiful gated community of Unity Park is place for you!
