At Obama's Acceptance Speech on the last day of the DNC, Invesco Field, Denver Colorado. August 28, 2008. Restrictions on camera lenses so I brought Dave's old P&S.

Hasyim hails from Surabaya, Indonesia & is of Arab decendant. A student & living in Malaysia for the past 5 years he now interns at my workplace as a graphic/multimedia designer. When ask about his views about Love & Unity in his foreign perspective he has this to say.
"When I first arrived here I thought most Malaysians were an arrogant bunch and hardly smile to others but instead gives out an uneasy stare. That was my experience the first couple of days here but after a while I realized not all of them are like that. I think 'Love & Unity' exist within Malaysian culture in general, especially when it comes to football matches, hehehe. Given the current state of affairs in Malaysia, being an Indonesian I would say the living standards here are still better when compared to my country. I can understand the frustration of the locals but to me, I have seen & experienced worst and here in Malaysia life is good for me. Having said that, I think the choices and variety of food in Indonesia are way better than here ... of course, Adi says I don't explore much. :D
