Mr.Amin is a grass-cutter/hedge-trimmer by profession who hails from Seremban. He works 4 days a week including weekends & spends the rest of his free time traveling around Kuala Lumpur & observing people. He enjoys watching people interact with each other & also their surroundings & how this would affect him as a citizen in his community. This is how I got to meet him. He saw me taking photos near where he was standing & said "Hello, are you from the press? Can you actually take photos in the rain?". Despite his outward appearance which may hinder a lot of people Mr.Amin is truly a fascinating & nice fellow who happily helps out strangers with directions around town whenever he can. To me, he is a living symbol of the theme "Love & Unity".

This Plaxton Supreme lV bodied Leopard PSU5D/4R was part of a batch of coaches which were new to National Travel (South West) later serving with National Travel (West) and Black & White Motorways. More recently KAD 359V had been used by Westbrook Travel, Ryde, Isle of Wight before being acquired by Unity Scouts, Emsworth in October 2003. Initially

operated as a non-psv, this operator gained an "O" licence in January 2004. Here a very smart KAD 359V is seen attending the Gosport Bus Rally held at Stokes Bay on August 28th 2006.

A unity march was held on Monday on the campus of Western Carolina University as part of an annual week long celebration honoring the life of Martin Luther King Jr.

Unity covers a wide range of loosely connected ideas in science, differently analyzed by different interpreters. Generally, they are expressions, or echoes, of the idea that science can succeed in providing one consistent, integrated, simple, and comprehensive description of the world.

Friday was the first full moon of the lunar calendar, what we celebrate as Lantern Festival in our culture. These sweets rice balls are enjoyed as a symbol of unity. My wife’s home creation included the classic black sesame version and a westernized peanut butter chocolate, both beautiful and tasty. I found the sweet enjoyment particularly precious and relevant this year.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple, located on Lake Street in Oak Park, was built between 1905 and 1908. It is considered to be one of Wright's most "important" designs, and is currently home to Oak Park's Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Unity Temple was declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1971.

The external cladding of the Unity building is arranged in a "dazzle" camouflage pattern based on that applied to ships on the Mersey during the war.

The top of the Unity building features a distinctive box structure containing two penthouses. I don't see how this is as a natural development of the architecture below but it gives the building a strong visual identity on the skyline.

In 2009, the Rhondda Cynon Taff local authority, in conjunction with the Arts Council of Wales, erected a new piece of public sculpture just outside Pontypridd. Christened Unity, the sculpture stands on land beside the Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, and is intended to bring new visitors into one of South Wales' most exploited and neglected former mining towns. The sculpture represents three aspects of Pontypridd's heritage: the town's famous bridge, the mines that populated the town in the 1800's and 1900's, and the way that the British fleet relied on both coal and locally-manufactured chains.

Unity or Lunacy? You decide.

The sculpture is largely invisible to anyone travelling up the major road from Cardiff until you've passed the turn-off for Pontypridd, which limits its ability to draw passing tourists into the town. In common with both RCT and Cardiff's local authority, there's no memory of the Glamorganshire Canal incorporated into the sculpture - without the canal, the Chainworks would never have come to Pontypridd in 1816. And there's no incorporation either of the Taff Vale Railway, still in operation today and visible from the site of the sculpture.

Time will tell whether this piece of public sculpture will be an asset or a communist-red (as opposed to white) elephant for the town, but it seems unlikely to become as iconic a piece as the Angel Of The North.
