Unity assignment- again wasn't actually shot for the class. I originally had no ideas for this assignment but found this while editing an earlier shoot and thought it worked well enough.

Against a heavily polarised sky, the sunlit bow of Pontypridd's Unity sculpture is looking resplendent following a recent repaint.

The sculpture was designed by Andy Hazell and installed in 2009. It represents three iconic parts of Pontypridd's history. First, the depiction of the old bridge, engineered in 1756 by William Edwards. Second, the railway - once Pontypridd had one of the longest railway platforms in the country and was one of the busiest as coal ("black gold") was transported down to the sea from the many collieries to the north of Pontypridd. Third, the bow of the ship represents both the coal that fuelled the naval fleet and the Brown Lenox chainworks which stood nearby, and supplied chains to Isambard Kingdom Brunel and others.

Derek Randall's second batch of Scania K112s had Jonckheere Jubilee P599 low-driver coachwork which in my opinion was far more attractive than the P50. A58 JLW, now registered UXI 8633 was seen at Unity's Clayworth, Notts, depot after a light snowfall in January, 2001.

On January 8th, 2008, the Democratic primary election in Unity, New Hampshire resulted in a 107-107 tie between Senator Clinton and Senator Obama.

Five months later, on June 27th, 2008, the two former rivals appeared together in a show of unity at an elementary school in the town of the same name.

Solidarity between the these two political pioneers will be necessary for Obama to win the Presidency and for Clinton to continue her amazing career. Each one is committed to serving the American people.

Our country needs unity as well. Can we do it?

Yes, we can!

The third Unity Walk - a one kilometer walk for Parkinson awareness - happened to pass by our office this afternoon. Since I had my cam with me, I decided to go out and take a few shots.

This picture in paricular really gives me goosebumbs. Dear lady, I don't know who you are, but I salute you :)

Yay! :D That's the official Unity minifigure, I won it for participation in "Build Your Own Game" contest on Lego Ideas, for which I made a game about shark!

The background is a small package I've got via mail. As you can see, I decided to switch the official hair to make the minifigure look more like me, because yes, I use glasses sometimes, and no, I'm not ginger, I'm exactly dark brown, though my hair is short, but not that short. :)

I have no idea what to do with the other head. Maybe play a football game with that "elf"? xD

unity & togetherness. This is an updated version of a design I started a while ago. Seemed like the right time to finally share.

India is famous for its unity in diversity.

It is a place where diverse people such as diverse geographical location, diverse beliefs, diverse languages, diverse cultures intermingle and preach a single Indian Union.

This photo made me remind me that thoughts. Seen in this picture is a small temple and a small church built in proximity of each other. People of either beliefs seems to co-exist here.
