In a previous existence when I had a lot more time (when was that...) I used to design and make one-off bespoke lampshades and gifts.
This interesting bell contraption is on the wall inside my grandfathers house. I believe my uncle built it, and it's quite fascinating. If you look close, there are marbles on top that start the whole thing off, and it truely works, the end result a loud bell ring. He's so good with wood!

Key visible features:
- Plumage: dark brown and black feathers with glossy texture, accented by lighter tan tones on the wings.
- Beak: a distinctive blue beak, unusual among most bird species and adding vivid contrast.
- Crest: a light-colored crest rising from the head, giving the bird a bold and elegant profile.
- Body posture: appears puffed up, which enhances the impression of volume and presence.
- Overall impression: the combination of glossy feathers, unusual beak color, and crest makes this bird visually captivating and quite distinctive.
Birds with such features often attract attention from ornithologists and enthusiasts because they combine rare coloration with striking physical traits. They are also excellent examples of how plumage and ornamentation can serve both aesthetic and behavioral functions in the avian world.
