Unique images of merry Christmas 2021, I captured this image on December 25, 2021, from Kakrail church, Dhaka, Bangladesh
These earrings are made from unique "yellow turquoise", a form of jasper. The speckled gold and brown stone is carved into a scallop-like shape. They are accented with copper beads and hang from closing copper ear hooks.

With the amount of these I am uploading, it would be insane to individually give them their own unique description. So: they are figure drawings I made at the Adelphi class I took last year. Most of them are 18" x 24"

During the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020, I decided to take this time to travel backward and revisit my old travel photos. I consider this project to be an important accomplishment during this difficult time.
Without a doubt, Bobo-Dioulasso is one of the most special cities I have seen in Burkina Faso and West Africa. I still think of it as a very special place in the world where I got a taste of a traditional African city mixed with French colonial elegance. While Bobo-Dioulasso is famous for its Sahel style Grand Mosque, the modern architecture of the Cathédrale Notre Dame de Lourdes is quite interesting. My guide drove by the cathedral for me to get a taste of the diversity of Bobo-Dioulasso and Burkina Faso before going to Gaoua.
The Toer de Geuze is an annual weekend festival celebrating the spontaneously fermented sour beers unique to the Payottenland just west of Brussels. The Hoge Blekker organ is named after the highest sand dune on the Belgian coast, a magnificent 33m above sea level. When I visited the Oud Beersel about 33 years ago it had its own built-in organ, which the landlord played for us as we sat at the big round table with a wire cage round it. Today the reopened brewpub has a 10-page menu of beers, including vintage geuzes stretching back decades (and rising in price at €2 a year). All those years ago I think it cost 40 francs (€1) a glass. For Brusselaars, bus 154 (hourly from the 51 terminus at Van Haelen) drops you at the door

This is our unique sales tool for our wedding videography business, Life Stage Videography. Too many videographers just throw together their "best" clips with no sound cut to a wedding related song and expect results. We actually give our brides and grooms insight into what kind of product we create, what our actual past clients think about working with us, and why we are different from every other videographer who claims they are "cinematic". We aren't really sure what that means anymore, but we do know that we enjoy filming more than just a wedding, we love to get all the big and small details that re create a couple's wedding "experience". A picture is worth 1,000 words - what about a song? In 35mm: A Musical Exhibition, each photo creates a unique song, moments frozen in time; a glimmer of a life unfolding, a glimpse of something happening. The University of Southern Maine School of Music fall musical theatre production is part concert, part exhibition, part poetry jam, part performance art...an intricately woven collection of stories that re-imagines what the modern American musical can be.
Three performances take place in Corthell Concert Hall on the Gorham campus on Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, October 28 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for seniors, USM alumni and employees, and $5 for students. They can be purchased online at usm.maine.edu/music/boxoffice, by phone at (207) 780-5555, or at the door.

Art moves and touches people in different ways. The stories told through song in 35mm are all based on or inspired by the eclectic photography of Matthew Murphy. Composer Ryan Scott Oliver provides us with a collection of stories and photographs about life: gorgeous songs about love and loss, more complex issues like insanity, abuse...and some humor too. Oliver states, “it covers a wide range of experiences and sensations.” This show is recommended for mature audiences.
The show’s director, Ed Reichert says, “The score is fascinating to me because it covers so many genres such as rock, gospel, country, pop, and musical comedy. Ryan Scott Oliver openly talks about some of his creative influences including Lady Gaga, The Scissor Sisters, Schubert, and Rufus Wainwright. He is equally inspired by the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Stephen King, and Stephen Sondheim.” Reichert adds, “With Halloween just around the corner, at least three of the songs are timely: Leave, Luanne (a Southern Gothic Ghost Story), Twisted Teeth (a duet between two vampires), and The Ballad of Sara Berry (think prom queen...).”
The cast includes: Samuel Allen (Harpswell), Matthew Boyd (Medford, NJ), Andrew Carney (Millinocket), Mikayla Clifford (Yarmouth), Noli French (New Gloucester), Aaron Kircheis (Bucksport), Katie Lind (Standish), Ayann Main (Wiscasset), Megan Mayfield (Marlborough, MA), Miles Obrey (Gorham), Alyssa Pearl-Ross (Sangerville), Victoria Stackpole (Biddeford), March Steiger (Buxton), Ben Walker-Dubay (Kennebunk), Megan Walz (Portland), Meg Ward (Bangor), Abby White (Dalton, Mass.).
The band includes Lynnea Harding, associate music director, violin and viola; Catherine Begin, cello; Jake Cooper, guitar; Shannon Allen, bass; Sam Smith, drums, and Ed Reichert on piano.
