Postcard of Union Square, Somerville from 1908

A jeans store

More than 300 competitors spent the afternoon of Sept. 14 delivering backhanded topspin smashes in the third annual Ping Pong on the Plaza, which brought in a record $95,000 to support the IMA Foundation. That’s the charitable wing of the IMA Financial Group, which exists to advance youth, support educational institutions and improve the quality of life in Denver by supporting the arts.

The Foundation is responsible for 50 grants in the Denver area, and many of the participating Ping Pong teams represented local nonprofits that benefit from the foundation, including the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Photos by McKenzie Kielman for the DCPA NewsCenter

The wall of the missing in Union Square Par. NYC. These computer made flyers and photographs began to appear immediately after the attack across the city, But Union square became the main missing people platform. Hundreds of flyers plastered every surface screaming for attention and answers. While some gave comfort in poems and words for comfort and hope. One flyer in the foreground had letters printed in big red and black letters PLEASE HELP!
