Whole Foods in the suburbs are like normal supermarkets, as in they don't have 30-something check-outs.
unfortunately, you can't hear how wonderful Lucy Cintron and Paco Avendano sounded singing Latin American love songs.... but I now have a CD as well as a photo to remember them by. Union Square subway station, L train platform
Ate there with Ed and one of his friends for the purpose of taking lots of photos. Result = meat coma.
Update: Our Globe article!
The Diesel is heading to Union Square for location #2 - there are so many things to say about it, but above all it is exciting. We have a lot of plans and aspirations for this space, and we really are working off of something tremendous.
The location, an old bank at 11 Bow Street just out of the heart of Union Square, has windows everywhere, a garden with a dogwood in the middle, and the biggest vault you've ever seen, filled with hundreds of tiny safety deposit boxes.
Big thing are coming from the great minds of our two beloved owners!
