Suicide in Union Square

The officer and civilian would tell me no more than that someone died. The police report, charted here on the Gothamist newsmap, shows the incident to have been a suicide. As an abstraction, acknowledged; in personal communication, there is an innate resistance against acknowledging that someone could have taken their own life.
