Union Pacific SD24 No. 425 has been serviced and awaits assignment in Provo, Utah on March 5, 1977. The UP rostered 34 'A' units and 45 'B' units, built between 1958 and 1960. By 1985, the 'A' units were retired, and by 1979 the 'B' units were off the roster.

While on vacation this week i shot the NHN daily southbound crossing the southern tip of Union Meadows just above the dam on the Branch River.
New Hampshire Northcoast's southbound rock train D8 from Ossipee Pit rolls across the beautiful New England landscape south of Wakefield. I was bummed about the leaser leading, but still a beautiful line to photograph.

A union of different building styles.
Centrepiece: the Union Building (earlier: Hotel Union) is an Art Deco office building in the heart of Bucharest, Romania.
Design (1932): Arghir Culina.
Built in 1902, the Columbia Union Station once served both Southern and Atlantic Coast Line traffic until the mid 1900s. Eventually the station was converted into the restaurant California Dreaming and continues to be filled with guests as the occasional train passes by.
Today was quite the example, as NS 951 slowly rolls through behind a quartet of Fs. April 9th, 2018.
