Conference of Interfaith Understanding at Ramakrishna Mission New Delhi
The Aligarh Inferfaith Center in collaboration with the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi and Iran Culture Centre, Delhi organized a one day conference of interfaith understanding on the 10th of December, 2022 in the Vivekananda Auditorium of Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi.

‘The Political Reporter’ is a new media installation by Boone, NC-based artist Mark Nystrom that generates random, but intriguing statements with words found on political websites and in the media. Sources include the Obama and Romney presidential campaigns, the Democratic and Republican parties, bloggers and the news media.
‘The Political Reporter’ animates a cloud of letters and periodically makes statements. These images are screen grabs taken while ‘The Political Reporter’ was running on Election Day and the day after.
Letters from words gathered from conservative sources are colored red and ones from liberal sources are blue. ‘The Political Reporter’s’ vocabulary includes over 70,000 words, but only 300 appear on the screen at any given time. As words are used to make statements, they are replaced by randomly chosen new ones from the list of 70,000.
The subject of love is most critical, this is the most important subject. If you understand and practice this, then you are free forever. Understanding the love of God can only be achieved the bible.
The love of God can only be understood through the word of God. We just have to follow God’s pattern and instruction to love. The word of God is God.
Ephesians 5
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
It must be the same way you love yourself.
There are people that does not love themselves. You must first be able to love yourself before you can love another. If you hate yourself, it will be difficult to love another person.
You love your neighbor the same way you love yourself, this is the bible specification, it must not be more or less. If you eat fried rice, you must give your neighbor fried rice. You cannot eat fried rice and give your neighbor garri to drink; this is not the love of God.
This is applicable even to even your enemies. This sounds hard but it is God’s standard for love. Don’t just love your children, do good to other people’s children.
Unless we keep to this standard, we will live in disobedience, and no one should tell me it affect nothing.
Last month I posted about some of the online courses I’ve done this year so far. UNDERSTAND YOUR OWN ENERGY was a great short course by Lindsay Banks that discusses the concept of energy, also known as Qi in China or Prana in India: a universal life force. The course also presented a brief overview of our Chakras, as well as on how crystals and a meditation practice can help to protect and raise your energy.

Surviving cancer and using art as a tool for healing, reflection and understanding has infused my art with a sense of energy and optimism that has a universal appeal. The process of making the art as well as the meaning of it, are both an integral part of the end result and for me there is always a battle to harmonize between the two – to evoke the emotion of the piece and to empower the viewer.
I love combining traditional and new media painting techniques where one feeds off the energy of the other. The visual collaboration of both medias often celebrates a bold expressionism and optimistic edge regardless of subject matter.
My work has evolved from a mashing of referenced pop art and iconic imagery into elaborate multilayered portraits and scenes that depict a more personal interpretation of my life experience, battles and passions. My goal is to lead the observer to dramatic action, putting them on the edge between what we know and what is unknowable. I’ve learned that something new will always come about when you push hard enough and the result is the revelation of a “new identity”.
The motivation for me to keep going is to gain an understanding of how this “new identity or rebirth or truth” actually reflects my life as well as the world we live in – or not.
