My little brother and his cousin became great friends almost as soon as they met. I loved watching my brother in his little suit playing basketball with my cousin in his shorts and tennis. Neither one of them sees the superficial differences, they just see a friend/family member.

Shaun, 54, and Sharon Owens, 55, have been married for 28 years. They say the key to their longevity is their Christian faith. Shaun has lived in the city his entire life, while Sharon moved to the city in 1981 to start college at Syracuse University. Their anniversary is July 7.

I went to San Diego for my spring break and visited the Unconditional
Surrender Statue right next to the USS Midway museum. The super popular
image of a sailor in Times Square on Victory over Japa Day grabbing the
nearest girl.
This dog is disabled. It cannot walk. The owner is a homeless. He lives at the square, under the trees and the stars. He has little to eat; nevertheless, he loves his dog. He gives it all his care and love. He felt compassion for this dog and provides it with a better life.
Ask yourself if you would be able to love this way...
True Love is unconditionally loving caring about the happiness of another person, with true love, nothing else matters, but without it, nothing else is enough said the groom Jerry. .
We are truly blessed to be part of this journey as they go on to the another journey of life with full of love and caring . .

Kids don't ask for much.....unconditional love means just so very much...and it's free and so is a walk on the beach.....
July 28 210/366- Today was a long day with inservice training all dang day, then a meeting later at church that took much longer than expected, picked up dinner, bought a tankful of gas, and home to catch up on family stuff. Finally everyone left the living room except for me and Dharma.
In our meeting we discussed what "unconditional love" really was, and I was thinking about it when Dharma climbed up here- I have a brush, odd thing next to me (camera & tripod), and everytime I sqeezed that button in my hand the thing made noise plus flashed. She wan't happy about that but was happy just to be in my lap and getting attention from me. Dogs are great!
Also trying out my new remote for my Nikon D200, works great!

I haven’t had a day where I’ve felt like this in a long time. Sometimes a girl just has to cry. When I took this picture I had a good reason to cry. Recently I’ve had very little reasons to cry. I’m the happiest now, than I’ve ever been. God has blessed me with someone that I couldn’t imagine living without.
When I’m with him I can never stop smiling, laughing, looking at him. It’s really an endless display of goo goo eyes and little girl giggles. It’s almost been 9 months and I know most people say that’s not a very long time. People tell me to “just wait, this stage will end” and I really don’t want it to, but I also don’t think it’s going to. I’ve stepped out of myself in this relationship and really allowed myself to let someone else in. He’s surpassed all my barriers and he looks past all of my scars that I never thought would heal.
You can tell me that we are moving too fast. You can tell me that this love isn’t going to last and I am fine with that. I will listen to what you tell me, but I’m not going to invest any thoughts into it. I’m going to live and act like this will never end; that I will be happy with him until I cease to exist on this planet. I know there will be up hill and downhill struggles and I’m willing to face those with my chin up and my heart wide open.
Now, if I cry it’s not because I am sad. Any tear that falls comes from an overwhelming feeling of pure and simple happiness. It’s like looking at a sunset that is so beautiful you can hardly grasp how God could create something so amazing and all you can do is shed a tear or two because it’s just that beautiful.
I have a tattoo on my right ankle, it raps partially around and it has one of my favorite sayings on it.
“Live, Laugh, Love”
If I had to choose a saying to live my life by, it would be that one. A day hasn’t passed, since I met him, where I haven’t lived, laughed or loved. I want to live life as passionately as I can. I want to laugh at the very least once a day until by belly hurts so bad. I want to love as unconditionally as I can until there is no more love to give (which, I’m assuming will be when I die).
THAT’S MY RANT!!! I’ve had this building up inside me for a while and I needed to get it all typed out. I was just going to save it to my documents and leave it there… BUT, I figure why not share it. If someone really doesn’t care what I have to say, they just won’t read this.

This 25 foot statue stands on the corner of 13 mile and Woodward in Royal Oak Michigan. It represents the famous kiss at the end of WWII in New York’s time square.
On June 20, 2016 the statue was erected here in Royal Oak Michigan after traveling from New Jersey. It will remain on display for 6 months to raise awareness and inspire donations for the WWII Legacy Memorial planned for the RO memorial park.

Police begin confronting Vietnam veterans to force them out of the street and back on the sidewalk at 3rd Street NW and the Mall during a march to the U.S. Capitol July 3, 1974.
The police riot left 10 people treated at hospitals including Pat Fahey who suffered a broken left arm and David Curry who required 19 stitches to his head. Five protesters were arrested and charged with parading without a permit.
The brief police violence was reminiscent of the actions taken against World War I veterans in Washington, D.C. during the 1932 Bonus March.
Four days of protest sponsored by Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) ended the following day with a mass march by a crowd estimated at up to 5,000 to the Ellipse behind the White House.
Protests took place over four days at the Veterans Administration, Justice Department, the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. Capitol and the White House.
The veterans were demanding:
*UNIVERSAL UNCONDITIONAL AMNESTY
*DECENT BENEFITS FOR ALL VETS
*IMPLEMENT THE AGREEMENTS--END ALL AID TO THIEU AND LON NOL
*SINGLE TYPE DISCHARGE FOR ALL VETS
*KICK NIXON OUT
VVAW began to splinter after this demonstration into factions for and against the politics of the Revolutionary Union (later Revolutionary Communist Party). Thereafter the group declined in influence, although it still maintains an existence today.
