Harsh winter weather is never convenient. But at Cleveland Water, we do everything we can to minimize the impact it may have on the treatment and delivery of your water.
Steps to prepare employees and equipment for the upcoming winter weather started in early fall, well in advance of colder temperatures.
These steps include inspecting necessary vehicles and equipment to ensure they are operating correctly, stocking cases of salt and calcium chloride in our warehouse, and, most importantly, properly training and equipping our water main repair crews.
Repair crews can sometimes work 12-16 hours in cold and wet conditions repairing water mains, which break more often in winter. In addition to a clothing allowance, these employees are provided with heavy duty rubberized gloves, rubberized boot spikes, and helmet liners to ensure they are warm and safe.
Repair trucks are also equipped with salt. Water main breaks can cause icy conditions during cold weather so crews have salt on hand to keep roads and sidewalks safe.
Cleveland Water maintains our own snow plows, salt trucks, and snow blowers. These vehicles and the crews that operate them clear snow and ice from our treatment plants, pump stations, maintenance buildings, and offices to keep them operating effectively. They will also assist the City of Cleveland in clearing roadways if necessary.
Taking these steps each year ensures that water delivery to our customers continues to run smoothly regardless of the weather.

REVEALED: Javed Akhtar plays narrator in Bareilly Ki Barfi
While his poetry continues to create magic across the country, the veteran writer Javed Akhtar is looking forward for a new role in a forthcoming film. Javed Akhtar will be a narrator in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s film Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Talking about this, Ashwiny who was on a lookout for someone with an understanding of the language and expressions yet narrate the plot with a tinge of humour was more than happy to have Javed Akhtar on board. She revealed that even though it is just a voiceover, he is a key character in the film. Further elaborating on the concept and the role played by the narrator, the filmmaker mentioned that he is one of the neighbours who have witnessed the interesting life journey of the Mishra family.
Readers may be aware that Bareilly Ki Barfi is set on the backdrop of a small town in UP and considering the close proximity of the houses in these areas, most of the neighbors are aware of all the happenings in each other’s house. Keeping this point in mind, Ashwiny decided to have Javed Akhtar as the narrator in the film.
It seems that it was the producer of the film, BR Chopra’s grandson Kapil aka Juno Chopra who initially approached Javed Akhtar for the role and was instrumental in making him a part of the film. Maintaining how life has come a full circle, Juno reminisced about how Javed Akhtar helped his father Ravi Chopra whilst he was directing Baghban to pen the finale of the film and even now Juno is thrilled to have Javed Akhtar in his film as a narrator.
Starring Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao in leading roles, Bareilly Ki Barfi, produced by Junglee Pictures in association with BR Chopra production, is an adaptation of the French novel ‘The Ingredients of Love’. It is slated to release on August 18.

Ultra Miami is making the most of its new location in Virginia Key with an all new transportation system. Whether you’re traveling by shuttle or ferry, getting to Ultra should be a breeze this year — if all goes according to plan.
“At #Ultra2019, we’re excited to offer a unique and convenient transportation option — ferry transit!” Ultra shares in a new post. “Skip the drive and arrive to the festival by boat after a short ride across Biscayne Bay.”
According to Ultra, ferry transport passes will go on sale soon — unlike shuttles, the ferries will not be free. The 3-day pass will get you transport to and from the festival. Of course, there will be limited quantities offered on a first come, first served basis.
Travel time from downtown Miami to the new location at Virginia Key should take under 20 minutes by shuttle. Or, around 8 minutes if traveling from the closest shuttle hub. Travel time by ferry to Virginia Key is estimated to take 30 minutes, but you’ll get better views.
Ultra Miami takes place March 29 – 31, 2019 at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park & Miami Marine Stadium.

It seems Ultra Music Festival is pretty much a “go” this year, with a new location set for Virginia Key. However, there’s just one major problem. Another music festival is set to take place at the same waterfront venue over the same weekend.
Rapture Electronic Music Festival was held in the same location in 2017 and 2018 — and now the festival is suing Ultra Music Festival for trying to move in. Rapture and Ultra are both selling tickets for their respective events, but there’s obviously only room for one.
According to the lawsuit, Rapture is suing over the right to stage a weekend’s with of live music on Virginia Key. The suit asks the court to halt Ultra’s plans for a music festival so Rapture can carry out its own event. Apparently there were talks with the city and Virginia Key Beach Park Trust to host Rapture in 2019 and 2020.
“This was an opportunity for Ultra and [Event Entertainment Group] to shut down its competing Miami based festival held by Rapture,” the lawsuit reads.
It also asserts that Ultra, the City of Miami and the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust together are violating anti-trust laws by establishing the music festival. Rapture believes Ultra has a monopoly on the spring festival market in Miami.
Rapture first sent Ultra and the city a cease-and-desist letter in early January. That request has gone ignored as Ultra applies for permits and maps out the logistics of the 2019 event.
Ultra Miami plans to take place March 29th – 31st at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park & Miami Marine Stadium. Rapture Electronic Music Festival is looking at Friday and Saturday of the same weekend, the 29th and 30th.
The battle is on.

Raj Kumar Gupta burst into Bollywood and wowed us all with No One Killed Jessica – his gritty film about the real life case of model Jessica Lall’s murder that shook the nation. And now we have learnt that he is currently working on two films – Raid that’s starring Ajay Devgn and goes on the floors now and the second – tentatively titled Most Wanted, is a thrilling true story of an unsung hero.
Raj Kumar is set to be joining hands with Fox Star Studios for Most Wanted. Fox Star Studios has had a penchant of delivering big blockbusters with real life stories like Neerja, Jolly LLB (Part 1 and 2 that had Akshay Kumar) and M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story. This director-producer combo is definitely something to watch out for.
Raj Kumar Gupta says, “Stories of real-life heroes always excite me as a filmmaker. Most Wanted is one such story. Looking forward to collaborating with Fox Star Studios on this one. We start post my shoot of Raid with Ajay Devgn.”

The recently released trailer of Poster Boys starring Sunny and Bobby Deol along with Shreyas Talpade in the lead was a rage amongst audiences who absolutely loved the light hearted comedy it showcased. One of the most interesting aspects to watch out for, is Bobby Deol’s ‘shuddh hindi’ rant against the people who put up their posters all around the city.
A source close to the makers of the film told us that Shreyas Talpade and writer Bunty Rathod had personally taken an initiative to coach Bobby. It was a process that Bobby had to follow, which would start off with him reciting the Gayatri Mantra in the morning followed by reading authentic Hindi newspapers on a daily basis in order to improve his diction.
The workshop was extensive and went on for a fortnight; the outcome as we saw in the trailer is definitely applause worthy. Inspired by a real-life incident, Poster Boys is a story about three men, who are shocked to find their pictures being used as part of a vasectomy campaign and how they decide to fight against the system.
Dharmendra, Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Sunny Sounds Pvt.Ltd. & Affluence Movies presents Poster Boys – a light hearted comedy-drama starring Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade. Directed by Shreyas Talpade, the film is slated to release on September 8, 2017.

Rishi Kapoor has played varied roles including a patriarch in Kapoor & Sons for which he received immense appreciation. Now the actor is all set to play a father in Parched fame director Leena Yadav’s next.
The film in question is a comedy drama revolving around a father-son relationship and deals with the concept of generation gap and the dynamic technology that has changed the mode of communication. The director Leena Yadav asserted that the film will have several interesting characters. On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor is said to play the 55 year old father of a young boy and the latter is said to be a newcomer.
Furthermore, we hear that Leena Yadav already had a boy in mind when she wrote the film.
