This is ubuntu/gnome. I found a controls theme on gnome-look called "marble-look" (can't find it now) - and the icon theme called G-Flat. I found the wallpaper through wallpapr and desaturated it to match the theme. That's my transparent terminal window editing python. Pretty simple, but I was happy to find something dark and minimal.

I was surprised to see that every other computer in one of the labs at Montgomery had Ubuntu installed on it. Apparently some 3D software runs well on Linux. They are also used as part of the render farm or something. The screen is a Cintiq, too.

I installed Ubuntu on my old PPC MacMini. I got VNC and SSH running. Not sure what else I can use it for. Maybe a web server? MacMini 1.25 PPC, 512mb, 40gb HD. Speed Demon ;)
The case came with the orange bezel. I added the logo stickers to the front and side.
Coming soon: hideous orange LED on the inside to show through the transparent left side panel.

i started using ubuntu i must say it was nice it is quite accessible
how ever there is still the problem of using arabic !!!!!
After i installed LXDE on my Pentium III Toshiba Laptop and my Asus EeePC 701 4G i decided to also install it on my main "workstation" - a Targa Now NT9231 Nettop with 1 GB RAM.
And hell yeah, i'm pretty satisfied, everything runs better now!
