I ran (with lots of help from Tommy Dykes and James Thomas) a .Net Gadgeteer workshop between three of the design courses at Northumbria University: 3D Design, Design for Industry, and Interactive Media Design. We spent a day on teaching through examples and a day on the students' own one-day projects and then launched them on this year's Microsoft Research Design Expo. Lots of great design work and I had a blast.

These ladies have not met each other for the last 12 years ever since they left the University of the South Pacific in 1994-both have married their hubbies who are from Namosi and Naitasiri respectively. Tarisi and Eseta are doing their Masters Degree this year finishing next year 2007.
This is University Village, UIC's South Campus community. This is a photo from the walking tour I made today. This is my first time walking amongst the buildings. I once lived in the dorms at University Village. Maxwell St. and Halsted St. would be the centerpiece of the neighborhood.
landscaping work outside the museum left room for huge puddles, one could almost fit the entire building into one of them.

To visit the University of Brighton area, you need to be a member of the development group. There's a lot of lively work going on, plus a substantial sandpit area for experimentation (at the time of visit, jukeboxes were being constructed).
