A dying breed are Pointer Darts once so common in London but now only a handful survive south of the river. Three were on Go-Ahead London Central's B16 today (LDP194, LDP206 & LDP274) with LDP 206 SN51 UAV (wearing a delicate shade of pink!) depicted here in High Street, Eltham. Wednesday 25th July 2018.

Go-Ahead London Central LDP206 SN51 UAV is now the oldest vehicle performing TfL duties, so make the most of it because this one and the other remaining Pointer Dart at BX (LDP 274) are earmarked for imminent withdrawal. LDP206 is seen here in Broadway, Bexleyheath on the B16. Incidentally both vehicles were on the B11 yesterday. Saturday 30th November 2019. DSCN50664.

Set of images captured using "Golden Eye" ... my Phantom 3 Professional quadcopter.
This is Mackinaw City, Michigan at sunset on Saturday night.
Out and about today and decided to experiment with the UAV and still photos. This came out ok. FEC train 101-10 at Sunbeam road. Jan 10, 2015.

I have had the drone up a few times this autumn as well.
These shots are all from the Northern LP. Either in Lakes of the North or the Jordan River Valley.
My newest UAV ... a Phantom 4 Professional.
I named it "Storm" because I purchased it during a MASSIVE thunderstorm; and then most of the flights I've taken so far have been skirting other thunderstorms.
This is just a cell phone photo, but I figured it was a perfect "profile pic" since the background is a developing thundercloud.
Go-Ahead London Central LDP 206 SN51 UAV was transferred from Peckham to Bexleyheath after service on 3rd October, not entering service at BX until the 12th October. Still wearing its Peckham (PM) garage code we find 206 leaving Mayplace Road West in Bexleyheath on the B16. Thursday 10th November 2016. DSCN39712A.

SF55 UAV is a Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban new as First Glasgow 69027 in January 2006. It also operated in Ireland as 06-D-64050 for a short period before returning to Glasgow as SF55 UAV.
The BAE Systems/Cranfield University UAV testbed has had a new coat of paint since I last saw her - looking very secretive in an all black scheme now!
Caught during the early morning mist on the last day of November, Go-Ahead London Central LDP206 SN51 UAV works the B16 in Hook Lane, Welling. I believe the last two remaining Pointer Darts at BX (this one and LDP274) are due for imminent withdrawal. Saturday 30th November 2019. DSCN50645.

3 photo stitched panorama. Shot from my Autel drone. Unfortunately the camera doesn't handle low light very well. Will retake this image once Autel Robotics comes out with their F1.8 camera upgrade. :)

First time making any lego aircraft, when ace combat 7 released I follow the hype and found this drone design looks nice so I build it.
Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle AQ-10 "Raven" developed and produced by EADS. Sole operators are the European Union Armed Forces, but the Royal Australian AirForce already showed interest in purchasing an yet unknown number of drones.
The Mk.II Version features two additional chin mounted MEC-4E "Equalizer" Gatling-Guns. These four-barreled guns use 20mm caseless ammunition and have a maximum fire rate of up to 4000 rounds per minute.
Other than that the "Raven" can carry a broad variety of different weapon payloads, ranging from (un)guided bombs over anti-tank-guided-missiles to Joint-Strike missiles, which can engage both air and ground targets.
Certain parts of the avionics, communications systems and fuselage are wrapped in armoured layers of titanium and Kevlar5 elasticised polymer.
Ground crews and drone operators nicknamed the UAV the "Warthog", not only just because of its ugly appearance, but also as it was developed as an unmanned successor to the Fairchild Republic A-10 "Thunderbolt" ground attack aircraft.

Sketch for a 1:35 scale UAV model. Absolutely ripping from Nick's pretty build but with a few tweaks to fit in a few parts that I already have. Going for a Hibernia aesthetic.
Taking a break from everything going on I decided to make a few micro builds. The first is this, utilizing the wing pieces from the Stormer XL Hero Factory set.
Ever since I saw that piece I wanted to use it somehow in a micro build.
