3D Typography render made in Cinema4D R11.5

I felt like making a "Comics" inspired work, I used a cool font called "Badaboom" that you can find here [link]

I used a soft global illumination, a Cell-render effect (which gives some cool borders to the scene elements), a distance depth of field, 4 lights, 3 soft shadows.

Render time : 40 minutes

Getting back into my graphic design haha

This is a refinished poster for the Bauhaus typeface, redone for my Typography class. The additions came from suggestions during critique by both professors and fellow students.

It's just an attempt in Typography Design = )

Title page from vintage German sheet music. Typography or calligraphy? I can't decide.

Playing with ideas for generative type. These sketches use a modified (off-lattice) Eden growth model, with a bitmap of the type used as a constraint for growth. The different textures come from tweaking the growth rules.
