Two Jack Lake, Banff, Alberta, Canada
I was trying to take some night shots here, and light pollution make the clouds quite appealing. One single shot

Nature was very good to me this day....still water and great clouds. When those two things occur at Two Jack Lake, a photographer feels that they've found nirvana....
The moon was almost full when it rose over Two Jack Lake in Banff National Park. Mount Rundle is lit by the moonlight.
Celebrating my brother's birthday!
Jose Miguel is a great Wildlife Photographer, a wonderful brother and an admirable human being. May God bless him with health and happiness!
Happy Birthday Panta!
Again, a shot from Two Jack Lake, Alberta
I feel the beauty of the mountain can't be captured on camera! It was very hard for me to capture the mountain, lake and reflection in one frame. When I tried that, disappointed with the scaling of Rocky. Anyway lucky to get those 2 people which may help me to show you a bit of beauty of this place!
Again, being in that place and seeing the photo are totally different experiences!!
Thanks to Lorien for guiding us to make our road map so wonderful!
Thanks to Paddu Sir for saying "if you didn't see Banff, you didn't see Canada" :-)

The 2021 British Columbia wildfires burned across the Canadian province of British Columbia. The severity of the 2021 wildfire season is believed to have been caused by a "perfect storm" of environmental factors exacerbated by human-caused climate change.
Red Chairs at Two Jack Lake
Banff National Park is located in the Canadian Rockies of Alberta. It was the first National Park in Canada, established in 1885. It contains some of the most dramatic scenery in North America.
While at an overlook to Two Jack Lake and view to the south to the ridges and peaks of Mount Rundle off in the distance. This location is along the Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive in Banff National Park. In composing this image, I walked around until I could find an opening in the trees that helped to frame the view with the lake waters and reflection as well as centering Mount Rundle in the upper portion of the image center. I felt this helped to create a layered look and add interests, from near to far.

Going through old photos doing a purge and thought I would try a re edit of this shot. It is a 4 shot pan cropped to 3:1 ratio. A cloudless day but this allowed for some good mirror like conditions. A good reflection of Mt Rundle in Two Jack Lake.

The air was crisp....the water was still...and the only sound was a bull elk bugling from across the lake.

Here it was kind of a blah day with the overcast skies. While I couldn't pass up a chance to take in a few minutes at Two Jack Lake, I have to admit I was kind of disappointed to not get that blue skies with white puffy clouds as I looked towards Mount Rundle off in the distance. Still it was good to see this view again in Banff National Park.
A cell phone shot of Two Jack Lake and Banff National Park's iconic Mt. Rundle in the back ground. This weekend I'm off to Jasper for the first time since about 1982.
