This tall yellow-orange wildflower often appears with two identical side-by-side flower heads. I find it along edges of woods where it can receive partial sun during the day.

The 'Cathedrals Explorer' tour of Britain, starting on 18 My 2012 and covering eight days, leaves London Victoria behind A1 pacific no. 60163 'Tornado' and banked by BR pacific no. 70000 'Britannia'. Most steam departures from Victoria are banked up the 1 in 62 incline to Grosvenor Bridge, but this is almost always by a diesel locomotive. On this occasion, though, 'Britannia' had brought the train into the station from Staines, via Redhill and Tonbridge. The plume of exhaust from 'Britannia" rises in the background. I thatched these first two rows of the part just so I could see how it looked so far.... I am really happy with it and I am loving the knot method!
Two class 37s accelerate their six coach ECS load away from Redhill to Tonbridge yard on the third day of a private nationwide charter. This saw the train run from Canterbury West to Staplehurst (break) then Penshurst (break) from where the ECS ran to Redhill for the locos to run round. The train then ran ECS back to Tonbridge and would later re-visit Penshurt to collect the passengers before heading to Crewe where it was scheduled to arrive at 0342! D6851 (37667) 'Flopsie' leads 37688. 'Flopsie' is perhaps the least appropriate name for a loco on the main line at the moment!

Apologies for being well behind with my comments etc but the last couple of days have been somewhat overtaken by the illness of my brother-in-law! He is very poorly and well what can I say - we pray and live in hope!!
My wife and her sister remain at the hospital and as I've just recently returned home I'm taking my mind off of things by jumping into my archives as I haven't had my camera in my hand over the last couple of days!!
This one is from November when I had dropped my wife and daughter off at a shopping mall and Simon and I continued on a photo shoot. We ended up in a small town called Parrish which apart from these two trains could easily have been the location for that great movie Deliverance!! We didn't stay too long!!

📖📖📖 Không dừng lại ở việc kể chuyện nguyên văn theo sách, cô giáo nước ngoài còn say sưa diễn đạt bằng hình thể, đưa ra câu đố về màu sắc, bộ phận của từng con vật, dừng lại trò chuyện với các bé ở những chi tiết hồi hộp nhất. Qua câu chuyện, bé thu thập được các từ vựng rất mới mẻ liên quan thế giới của những loài vật sống trong rừng như: Vẹt, ếch, dơi, rắn, voi, bươm bướm…
️⚽️🏀️🏉 Ở một bài học khác, cô Annette lại giới thiệu đến các em về thế giới của những quả bóng gồm: Bóng đá, bóng rổ, bóng bầu dục… qua tranh ảnh, clip trình chiếu từ chiếc bảng thông minh và những quả bóng thực tế mà cô thu thập được. Từ đây, bé dễ dàng phân biệt, gọi tên và nuôi dưỡng niềm đam mê với các môn thể thao.
Trong khi đó, những phút tập yoga dẻo dai với “Laura teacher” giúp bé học cách lắng nghe cơ thể và những điều tinh tế, bé nhỏ xung quanh như tiếng gió, tiếng lá cây, tiếng chim hót.
✈ Độc đáo hơn, cô Laura còn tạo hình tư thế yoga mô phỏng ý nghĩa của từ ngữ theo bảng chữ cái tiếng Anh. Khi phát âm “A A A Aeroplane”, cô giáo lập tức đứng bằng một chân, gập lưng dồn trọng lực về phía trước, hai tay dang rộng. Các bé ở nhà hẳn sẽ ồ lên khi nhận ra cô “biến hình” thành chiếc máy bay, liền hào hứng phát âm, lại vừa thực hiện được một tư thế yoga giữ thăng bằng độc đáo.
🐕🌳 Cứ thế, cô lần lượt tạo hình “Boat”, “Cat”, “Dog”, “Egg”, “Frog”, rồi đến những từ, cụm từ khó hơn như “Grasshopper”, “Make I lay down”, “Namaste”, “Oak Tree”, “Upside down”.

Out getting fitted for new eyeglasses, I discovered these two rulers.
It bothers me that both of these rulers' scales are labeled on the left end as mm and 16ths, when plainly those are the smallest marks, but the numbers are for cm and inches. One could be confused.

Having an early-morning nosh from the Trill seed-block that I put up last week in my back garden after giving the Grevilleas a haircut. So far, rainbow lorikeets are the only species I've seen availing themselves of it. Ground feeding birds like crested pigeons pick up the seeds dropped by the parrots.
From the Oakland Hills looking out over Emeryville, Treasure Island and Alcatraz Island to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Deserves to be seen LARGE.

Two Australian Silver Gulls try to stay warm at Narooma breakwater, Far South Coast, NSW.
No. 21 in a month long series using a CZJ Flektogon 35mm f2.8 lens.
Mainly or exclusively used for the TF two-speed fixed hub, in production from 1933-1942. Maybe used for the TC (1936-42) also, although I have seen a 2-speed trigger for this hub.
Unidentified as of yet, but I like them.
Honestly, all the time you spend cropping, and then Flickr smooshes the photo. Phooey!
The doll in the middle has been here for a while. The other two came earlier this month. I think the one on the left may be celluloid. She is really light weight. I love her face and hair. Anyone recognize the costume? There were two more, newer dolls in this same costume. The girl on the left is Netherlands, of course.
