Metra 104 "City of Chicago" and Metra 100 "Ernest Marsh" rest comfortably for the weekend at the Manhattan Metra yard. There are two of the oldest passenger diesels on Metra's active roster.
There is no weekend service on the Southwest Service District.

Is it just me ? As I remember when we were kids a fair came around once a year "Daisy Nook" or if we were lucky we got to go on a day trip to Blackpool :-))
These days theres a fair every school holiday.

The Harper brothers Charlie and Alan are almost opposites but form a great team. After years they had little in common except their dislike for their mundane, maternally cold but domineering mother Evelyn, Allan, a compulsively neat chiropractor and control-freak, is thrown out by his manipulative wife Judith who nevertheless gets him to pay for everything and do most jobs in the house. It was a wet Monday and I spent some time in the market. People shooting was the order of the day and I spotted these two ladies at the fruit and vegetable stall. This was the first shot in the sequence as both girls saw me making pictures. The brunette saw me in this shot and then the blonde. I did approach the two ladies afterwards. They liked the picture and I offered them a copy.
In a clear glass globe on a glass dish - It is made of cobalt blue and crystal clear glass. Someone didn't want it so they took it to Kent Recycle Center in Carmel, New York and it can be yours free!

My two Macs, a 13" MacBook, also handy for preparing eggs due to his heat performance, and the loyal iMac G5. The beautiful girl on the MacBook desktop is the actress Evangeline Lilly, wonderful interpreter of Kate character in Lost.
By chance I found these two wonderful one sixth scale glass teapots, which have matching cups, on eBay. They were made by a master glassblower. I bought these two teapots and the two matching cups for each.
He did a gorgeous creating them. What luck!
