"Two little ducks went swimming one day
Over the hills and far away
Mother Duck went quack, quack, quack
But only one little duck came back"
She did go & find him though! Mallard ducklings in Regents Park.
Early late September morning at Two Medicine Lake on the east side of Glacier National Park
Though there were no clouds, there was no wind which made for good conditions to highlight the reflections and colorful rocks.
Thanks for stopping in.

Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.
This is a shot of a pastel drawing of Gloria Swanson on the November 1926 cover of Motion Picture magazine that I gave the mirror card treatment.
This was a tiny cuckoo or nomad bee visiting our veronica gentianoides yesterday. With 30 nomad bee species in the UK I cannot identify exactly which species of bee this is but they are called nomads because they roam around looking for other solitary bee nests to parasitise. The gentian speedwell is also a bit of a nomad too. It's a much loved UK garden perennial, especially by bees, which grows wild in the Caucasus, from Turkey to Iran.
A vivid sunrise illuminates the sky pink over two icons in Yosemite National Park. Arriving early in the morning at dawn, the light intensified with the silhouettes of El Capitan and Half Dome prominently in the frame.

Those skyscrappers, the rounded and triangular one, are 49 and 42 floors respectively, and needless to say I was also shooting from floor 49. The opportunities there for compositions are truly endless.
This is Budle bay in Northumberland roughly one mile square in plan of open beach, opening into the North Sea, an area of Outstanding natural beauty it runs from Bamburgh to Holy Island and I would say it was the most deserted beach we have been on in the UK only second to Tresco Island on the Isle of Scilly.
Apart from the two couples in my shot we had this whole area to ourselves for most of the day. I shot many images around here of the bay and objects we found on the beach, Lowena was able to run free and I think she enjoyed it as much as we did.
