Dec. 30, 2013: Hi everyone! "Nana (tweeting)" is going to be in another group show called "The Americans 2013" (along with two other photographs by yours truly) opening next week at Dickerman Prints -- my favorite place to make prints, and one of San Francisco's few remaining professional photo labs. The show will be up Jan. 6 through Feb. 7, 2014, and there's an opening reception on Jan. 8 from 6:30-8:30pm. I'm excited to report that this was one of three photographs of mine that was chosen for a show that will open at San Francisco's City Hall on Sept. 16, 2010; the show is called "Night/Light: Bay Area Photographers Take Aim After Dark." It's quite unusual thinking how disconcerting it can be to lose such a small living creature you already learned to love.

The kids were playin in the garden, i suddenly hear "tweet tweet".. hmm i wonder....
i go to the next room n i find the bird resting on the head of one of the children, as if the hair was a nest.
We feed the lill guy some bread crumbs, then we go outside but he simply rests in my hand befor hearing his mum call and fly's away.
