This was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles inspired piece, as a kid it was my favorite TV series and I was obsessed with drawing them, collecting the action figures, watching the movies and loved everything Turtles based. So I felt I'd create a piece dedicated to my Heroes and Raphael especially.
I kept all the general features of the Turtles but did it in the Sicknote. style (note: mine has ears the impostor)
It was posted on a canal barge with a tanker on it, in the Red Light District of Amsterdam.
The City was amazing and every street sign was covered in stickers etc, definitely a visually inspiring city.
Every time I seem to visit a European capital city I always return home feeling like I want to live there and Amsterdam is no exception.

Ok, so there isn't going to be a series, but I wanted to bring these guys back. I personally enjoy the texture of water spots on the window. It's kind of a contextual thing for me. In other news the Giants are probably out of the Wildcard. It's slightly sad, but they're better than we all thought they'd be. Maybe life is about expectations...
