This was a tough scene to capture! Because of the sick dynamic range I decided to keep the filters in the bag and go for the multiexposure approach and blend manually. Even though I´m not thrilled about the final result, it did turn out quite nice. Hope it looks ok to you guys as well!

Leaves from a Blueberry Ash (Elaeocarpus reticulatus) in the garden show the dramatic change in colour as the leaves decay. It is Spring here in Sydney, but the shedding of leaves is continuous throughout the year on this evergreen tree.

Last Sunday evening whilst out for our walk we noticed that many of the farmers were out busy in their fields, taking advantage of the lovely weather. Looking across to the right of the picture in the distance you can see the spire of St. Mary’s Church in the small village of Cottonstones.

After switching Brenntag, NS local MU01 pulls up the wye at D&S junction before backing into the yard at East Durham seen here at Agier Avenue. Leading this day was First Responders unit 5642.
