"A SHEEPDOG amazingly tracked down his dead owner's grave - without ever being shown where he was buried.
Border collie Spot escaped from his new owners and dodged cars to cross busy main roads in a four-mile trek to the final resting place of farmer Denis Goodier.
Like Edinburgh's devoted Greyfriars Bobby, Spot homed in on the village churchyard where his master was buried five months ago - and then lay whimpering across the grave until he was found by police.
The pair had been inseparable since Mr Goodier, 73, raised Spot from a pup at the family dairy farm in Sutton, near Macclesfield.
But the farmer died following a long illness and Spot was moved to a new home four miles away.
Despite never having visited St James' Parish Church in Sutton before, Spot was able to find Denis's grave on Christmas Eve"
Last night his widow Margaret said she was astonished by the sheepdog's devotion.
She said: "It was incredible. The bond between them was always terrific but this was something else.
"Denis thought the world of Spot and the closeness was extraordinary. When I first heard what happened, I went cold.

These guys come over to Daytona Beach every year to shoot video at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, for which I do the sound. Quickly they became one of my favorite clients - even the hardest work is bearable when you have fun with the crew.
Another page created as a result of checking out today's challenge over at Jessica Sprague's 7 Days in May. The title of the page had to be "true story" and there had to be journaling.
I used the Maybe Kit from Deena Rutter, which is available over at Design House Digital.

I met Mike through work. I was his boss. When we first met, he had a longtime, live-in girl friend. But what I didn't known at the time was they were very close to breaking up. Within two months of us working together they split. I was in a meeting with Mike, just the two of us, on the day I found out of their demise. He mentioned it offhandedly, and as soon as I heard it I had this thought, "I'm going to marry this guy." We didn't date immediately. In fact, he went a little nuts, partied a lot and dated a slew of ladies. But we forged a friendship and eventually, when he got the crazy out of his system, we started dating, moved in together and were married less than two years of me having my "thought." True story.

She walks down the boardwalk; her own arms are crossed, her hands gripping her upper arms. She's looking down with barely any idea as to where she's going; her face is wet with tears that won't stop flowing.
There's times when everything is clear; no regrets, no worries; just simple issues and goals and a plan to deal with them.
Other times, when there's actually time to stop and think, times where you're done with everything and trying to figure out what to do, and life hits you in the face, and you stop to think about what you're doing.
You start questioning your goals; your life choices; everything you've been doing to this point. And it doesn't help. And the best way to fight against it.. is to throw yourself back into being busy, into getting more involved with more things, so you don't have time to stop and contemplate life.
Or.. someone can be the rock you can hold on to so the wind doesn't blow you away.
She stares out to the bay, lost in thought, still totally upset and doesn't stop crying. She starts in surprise when someone touches her shoulder and turns out slowly, not sure what to expect.
