at the May Day fair in Wakefield was this 'K reg' Atkinson. It started life as plough / gritting lorry, maybe hence its name?
In John Wayne's True Grit movie his horse is shot and it falls next to this rock.
If you drive up to the top of Owl Creek Pass you can see the other rock, the one that Kim Darby slept under.
