This Triumph TR2, MVC 575, was speed tested in Belgium in 1952 and achieved a speed of about 125mph on the Jabbeke motorway. The test driver was Ken Richardson. The car is now on display in the British Motor Museum.
The Triumph TR2 sports car was produced by the Standard Motor Company in the United Kingdom between 1953 and 1955. It was only available in roadster form.

Green 1968 Triumph Herald - MOL 863F. Clydebank on 29 January 2012 saw the Glasgow start of the 15th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique from the Clydebank College campus near to the area's famous Titan Crane. Along with the Monte-Carlo runners were the Caledonian Classic & Historic Motorsport Club (CCHMSC) Blythswood Heritage Run entrants. Other drivers of classic vehicles brought their cars to the area too, adding to the atmosphere.
