Dijon Motors Cup 2019 - Circuit de Dijon-Prenois - Triumph Competition & British HTGT

The Triumph TR3 is a British sports car produced between 1955 and 1962 by the Standard-Triumph Motor Company of Coventry, England.

I am not much of a car fan but its fun to photograph them , but i do like this one .

This Triumph Herald parked up outside this 1960's property made for a nostalgic sight. I recall these cars from my youth although I don't think I ever travelled in one.

Unfortunately I didn't take a note of the registration so cant give a year of manufacture.

On the occasion of the XII Concentration of Classic Cars in TORRENT (Valencia) organized by the Horta Clàssics Automotive Club, and although the lighting was not the most adequate (many contrasts) we could take pictures of some beautiful cars, among them, this Triumph-Spitfire 1500 and of which, according to Wikipedia, almost 96000 units were manufactured between 1974-1980.

was Rob's mum's bicycle. as he's keeping it, it would be a stretch to call it abandoned. and its in great nick.

1967-1969

I was at a car show this weekend testing out my newly used Z9 to see it it was for me. Anyhow, I seen this beautiful Triumph TR3A - I am not certain of the year, I forgot to take down the information. I used the Nikon z 24-120 F4 (I am not a zoom person), but this lens did well. What do you think?

The Triumph Motor Company launched the TR3 in October of 1955 as a successor to the TR2, and the new model was powered by the same 1991 cc, straight-4, overhead valve engine as its predecessor. The powerplant had larger carburetion, however, that pushed power to 95 hp, and the engine was mated to a four-speed transmission. New cylinder heads were fitted to the engine during the first 12 months of production, which translated to 5 more hp, and top speeds for the TR3 approached 110 mph.

It's not what would be seen often at a car show here in Arizona. It was rare to see one on the streets when these were new even in California!

The Stag’s sleek design was created by Giovanni Michelotti. It was offered from 1970-1977. There were nearly 26,000 produced in all. Its engine was a 3.0L SOHC V-8 of Triumph’s design.

That's when you realise that the city is in constant change, despite looking as it was in the last two centuries. None of these shops/restaurants exist anymore.

My last pre-COVID spot and last picture in my upload folder. Good to see this Triumph again though, a re-spot from 2009 and 2012. Still looks in nice condition 8 years on.
