The Holy Trinity Statue can be found in the middle of Trinity Square. The column commemorates the people of Buda who died from two outbreaks of the Black Plague. The sculptor Fulop Ungleich made the column. The carving on the top of the column represents the Holy Trinity. Below this the whole column is decorated with smaller statues depicting angels, cherub-like figures and larger statues of saints, while the central sculpture exhibits a biblical scene, showing King David praying to God to let his people avoid the outbreak of a plague.

At 9,451 feet, Trinity Lookout is rated the highest peak in the Boise Mountains with a lookout tower. The road to the top makes for an especially scenic hike, if you don't have a horse, ATV or motorcycle. It ascends 1400 feet over a distance of 2 miles.

View of Trinity Lake taken from along Monument Peak Ridge. (Directly down below -- not shown -- is Upper Rush Creek Lake -- it was mostly frozen over when this was taken -- May 21, 2014.)
Back in the early '90s two of my long-time friends (Bill & Eleanor) were camped at Upper Rush Creek Lake and climbed that jagged ridge to get a view of Trinity Lake -- we climbed via one of its low-point chutes. I took 8mm video of the climb which didn't digitize well -- going to try and re-digitize footage from the old tape later. But below is a link to a digitized still (from the 1992 trip) -- photo was taken from notch in the ridge -- the one center left, I believe.

We knew the world would not be the same...
A few people...laughed
A few people cried
Most people were silent.
I remembered the...line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita...
Vishnu...is trying to persuade...the Prince that...he should do his duty...
And...to impress him...takes on his multi-armed form...
And says...
'Now I am become Death...
...the destroyer of worlds.'

Inspired to put this together while I was listening to Lustmord's 'Trinity' album. If you feel like going through some minor existential dread for an hour and six minutes, I'd recommend giving it a listen.
A view of the front altar of Trinity Church in Boston, Massachusetts. The church has one great similarity to the churches (and other buildings) in Venice, Italy, namely that it rests on what was marshland in Boston's Back Bay. Using Venice as an example, the designers of Trinity Church drove wooden pilings into the Earth to support the weight of the structure. To this day, the water table under the church is constantly monitored to prevent the pilings from rotting and the church from ultimately sinking under it's own weight.

Three vehicles representing three great Japanese anime films/series. The Swordfish II from Cowboy Bebop (by Chris Hoffman), the Alakuneda Think Tank from Ghost in the Shell (by myself), and Kaneda's Bike from Akira (by Hachiroku24). The Alakuneda Think Tank has since been upgraded to a more accurate version.
I've been spending a lot of hours at work recently, so I've only taken shots around my office. This construction site is between Greenwich and Trinity Place.
