The group of people are celebrating their daughter who must be a student at this college. I know as a parent how proud we are when our kid didwell in further education. As for Trinity Lane and it’s wonderful architecture in this classical university style, it’s lovely to walk round.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, once known as Brandt's Church, was organized in 1845. The current sanctuary was built in 1868. German inscriptions on old cemetery stones reveal the heritage of early settlers.
The next day we first went back to Brookline to have brunch at Zaftigs again (they have really really good French toast) and then went back to the Back Bay to finish the walk that I was too blistered out to complete the day before.
Trinity Church in Copley Square was built in the 1870s by architect, Henry Richardson and is the first example of "Richardsonian Romanesque". Ben was keen to get this view of the church reflected in the John Hancock Tower.

We just discovered this place today, and were lucky enough to have it just to ourselves and the wildlife. really a great day,
Taken on recent trip to Nth Queensland. The weather wasn't great on the first day. with fairly steady rain for most of the morning. I stopped at Trinity Beach on the way to Port Douglas for lunch.

The Great Court at Trinity College, Cambridge. This very important academic institution has had among their alumni tens of Nobel Prize winers, and even older World famous scientifics, like Isaac Newton or Francis Bacon.
I don't know if that is related to the naming of the 1st atomic test as 'Trinity', but leading names in atomic phisics like Rutherford and Bohr also were Trinity alumni.

With the new Biopic "Oppenheimer" coming to most theaters today I thought it might be interesting to have a look at the Trinity Device aka known as The Gadget the output product of The Manhattan Project. Trinity was the code name of the first detonation of a nuclear weapon. It was conducted by the United States Army at 5:29 a.m. MWT (11:29:21 GMT) on July 16, 1945, as part of the Manhattan Project with a yield of energy equivalent to 24.8 ± 2 kilotons of TNT.
After the successful test Oppenheimer is said to have quoted a passage from the Hindu scripture, the "Bhagavad Gita;" "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
This inert model of the Trinity Device is located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
Early morning test shoot using the legendary 'Manual Focus Nikkor 180mm f/2.8s ED Telephoto Lens'. The light was coming beautifully through the morning fog and these 3 cyclists happened to be passing by. Waited for them to reach the bend and clicked.
The lens lives up to its reputation of being super sharp.

This is a sketch of the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral on Hart Street in Port of Spain, Trinidad. I did this drawing the same day as the Old Police Headquarters drawing. The Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral was under construction in Woodford Square, Port of Spain, when it was discovered that it was being erected in the wrong location. Even though the walls had reached their full height, the building was demolished and a new design prepared by Philip Reinagle.

After getting skunked the day before by FWWR not running the Cresson turn at all on this day they decided to run one but it left Hodge yard mid day! Despite the harsh high sun timing and mostly cloudy skies I got myself over to the Trinity River Bridge in a hurry for a chance at some kind of shot here. It was starting to look like I'd get totally cloud F'd but as he rolled across the trestle the darker shadows dissipated to the north and the sky gave me somewhat filtered almost full sun at this point which I was pretty happy about since it lessened the high sun harshness but still left me with a bright scene and an angle on this bridge you don't see as often.
