We had to go Trick or Treating, and decided Deadwool is a great place to do so. And once Evie reminded me that its about fear not about Joy (Joy is for Christmas she says) it went quite well!

Just a wee picture of Asha with her Trick or Treat tabbard on (it actually belonged to a hanging Halloween punpkin decoration which I stripped of the poor pumpkin...lol). I added the background of one of my own pictures taken in the grounds of Greyabbey County Down.

It's that time of year once again, Halloween ushers in the best holiday of the Holiday season!
Taken at La Mesa Oktoberfest in 2007 but still relevant every Halloween.
This is one of the dresses I made my Blythes. This is also a better look at her custom eye chips that I purchased off of a seller on Etsy. I <3 my precious little Claire.
Millions of flies attack the water buffaloes once they are on land. Their trick: sit close together and stir up a cloud of dust that irritates the flies and protects them like a hood.
The problem though: those flies all landed on me as i stood outside the dust cloud taking this photo...
The surreal impression of this image is actually caused by the dust rather than by the few editing corrections that i did.
It's Macro Monday and the set theme is Trick or Treat. Hmm (thinks), that's quite a challenge with a macro lens I reckon. I really couldn't think of much, but for the trick I had a ghoulish mask, and for a treat I found my wife had bought some Halloween sweets to give away at the door (but normally kids don't come down our dark drive as it is too scary). I found a Halloween wrapped small orange Swizzels fruity lolly but when I popped the stick of the lolly in the mask's mouth I realised you don't suck lollies that way round. And of course you take the wrapper off first: or, at least should do! So I took the wrapper off, but couldn't make it so you could see the pumpkin image....and so I put it back on....and then it wouldn't seal up neatly again. Really it's a bit of a flop, but I think I just about stayed within the 3 1/2 inch rule. Roll on "Let's make things easier Tuesday".
