Smile on Saturday - Spooky Spiders
A very little spider captured at the local wildlife reserve !!

I had a busy week, so I didn't get to pursue my original idea for the Spooky and Frightful Macro Mondays theme, and I am submitting this photo at the last minute. I used one of my wife's miniatures of a mouse on a jack-o-lantern with our cat as the background. Happy Halloween and Happy Macro Monday!
During the month of October, every evening after dinner, we treat ourselves to some Halloween fortune cookies which are kept in a wooden basket on our kitchen island.
The other day, our kitty Frodo was feeling frisky, racing around the house doing his afternoon zoomies when he suddenly jumped up on the island and sat next to that basket, as if he wanted a treat, too!
Occasionally he'll jump up on the counter, and we tell him firmly to get down, but in all the time he's been with us I don't think I've ever seen him on the island.
But when I saw him sitting next to that basket with that expectant look, I had to race for my camera, grabbed a few shots, and then told him to get down... which he did. Good boy!
Meet me at this house at midnight. We are going to go trick or treating here. As in all horror films, we know it will be necessary to go to this house after dark. Why? Because they obviously have the best treats, right? And what fun would it be if you could see without the horror film flashlight.
The fact that the main door is on the second floor is not a problem, since we can just use the inside stairs, which are now on the outside.
Who is with me?

I think I'll avoid this house when making my rounds on Halloween.

Hi everyone its me Milo.
Look what I learned at kennel club this week! No, I wouldn't do it on those small stools they had but dad brought me home and let me do the trick on our leather ottoman. Hope dad (or mum) will let me take it next kennel club and show everyone!
