The flower itself is a Scalene triangle (three different size sides).

The new section of the trail at the Triangle Garden, not quite completed, pushed through by the Parks and Trails Society and being finished by the Townsite Ratepayers Association, all with volunteer labour. The Garden is a small jewel in the city and this extension makes it even better.

I had so many ideas for this week and just didn't get to do them but this was one I came up with when looking for ideas on google images. The original was done with a kiwi, but I prefer the circular-ness of the orange.

Anyways, pretty straight forward. I used a whiteboard as the background, and used a compass to measure 60 degree angles. In Lightroom I just bumped up the exposure and contrast a little.

Being lazy today and re-posting an older shot for TheFlickrLounge, but I quite like it (after initial uncertainty) and it's the last Triangle Thursday so here goes nothing :-)

Possibly a bit of a stretch as they're more wedge than triangle shaped, but I still had fun with this one.
