I changed the gender of the folds on the left side of the module to make the "arms" in 2 different colours [with duo-coloured papers]
The example here is from 7.5cm squares. If 2x1 or 3x1 papers are used, then there will be another whole range of variations. No, I am not going to go through all these again but may just add a couple of variations.

Taken for Active Assignment Weekly - The Organic and Graphic Juxtaposition
I had so many ideas for this week and just didn't get to do them but this was one I came up with when looking for ideas on google images. The original was done with a kiwi, but I prefer the circular-ness of the orange.
Anyways, pretty straight forward. I used a whiteboard as the background, and used a compass to measure 60 degree angles. In Lightroom I just bumped up the exposure and contrast a little.

Two Intersecting Wrinkled Octahedra 36 units
In the process of refolding older models for my book, I have looked over older pictures I have posted here on Flickr, and found a post that recommended I fold this compound of two octahedra. So, almost two years late, but better late than never. ;-) I'm always up for a new polar Wire Frame.
I could have lowered one triangle on each polar face to avoid the intersections, but I like the wrinkled version ; it feels more integrated.
Designed by me.
Folded out of memo paper.
