When I walked back to my car after a long stroll through the vineyards on Saturday I came by some gardens with huge old trees. It was only early afternoon but the sun was already quite low in the sky and I liked the effect of the sun rays falling through the leaves.

This was a happy accident....I put the paper in the wrong way and hey presto a double "exposure"

How it was in slightly better times back in October 2010.

I often shoot landscapes in winter as the air is clearer and the sunsets are earlier. Although this one was taken with my phone!

A little bit more abstract than my usual photos, I lay down on the woodland floor and took a series of photos which I joined in Photoshop.
