It seems the Rihanna Tree isn't photographed as much lately. Back in 2013 popstar Rihanna was forced to disrupt the video shoot for her hit single "We Found Love" in this field when she was told to put on more clothes by the land owner. So from then this tree has been known as "The Rihanna Tree"
My take on the lone tree at Buttermere, It's shot to death but always nice to get your own take on an iconic location.
We headed down here on Sunday evening and although we were a little late for sunset we still got a bit of light hitting Fleetwith Pike.

As much as I appreciated comments and feedback I would request no Awards or flashy gif comments, please. They will be deleted. Thank you.

Wagtails at the lake near my home have one juvenile.
He is as big than mom and dad, and soooo noisy :)
Easy for the photographer to find them now
For this one I was on a bridge and the wagtails in tree over the lake or under the bridge on the ground
ps : in the shadow of big trees over the lake so very high ISO for this one

Tree is not very important to me. If there is no tree is not satisfied my photos. And in the same motif of the tree and there are people who have taken a great photo.
My friend Anna Kwa.
She is a photographer, musician, patch worker...crossover artist.
First looking up photo was taken on other side of deep in-frame pines. That area is now forest. This one is taken from my back yard lawn. I have lots of leaves to rake this weekend! Photo taken at sunset with sunlight high in trees.
A different individual to the first one I posted, found lower down the slopes. Biggish crop as he was a bit of distance away, across a bramble patch.
