A new Clootie Tree! Standing by the Upper Wharfe in Langstrothdale this young elm overhanging the river has been used recently as a Clootie tree. I am delighted to see the tradition alive and well.
The Tree of Life greets guests as the day begins and the animals wake up.
It looks much better large on black.
(I know. The focus. I know. But she's so lovely and it's all a part of my growing and learning in this project.)
This is Narelle. She works at Tree Of Life, where I met her and had a lovely little chat. I was very glad she agreed to a photo because I think she suits the camera just fine :) Isn't she pretty? I love her hair.

Engraved and painted candle for my friend's family for the New Year! Happy garden scene with apple tree, flowers, birds, bees, butterflies, sunshine and silver clouds! All the family names are engraved in various places. After burning for 3-4 hours a tea light can be popped in and the candle doesn't burn away.
