This is a set of plants, planters and stuff, under and around our pecan tree out front.
The brick object to the side used to be part of our mailbox, it was coming apart so we replaced it with a factory-made mailbox post and bigger mailbox. Now it functions as a sort of stand, and sometimes seat.
A perfectly healthy tree was dug up and replanted elsewhere. This tree is now supported with scaffolding - because that is what humans do.
This is a shot of my tree on its west-facing side. Notice the abundance of moss and deep green fungal growth ranging far up from the base.
Fairy-green light filters through a grove of poplars near Lago Inferiore. They consititute a regional industry (paper) as well as beautifying the landscape.
This was a great shot!! But really difficult to get!!
Emily and Stu had to clamber over loads of stuff to get to the branch as it was in the middle of a lake!!
I love the way it's turned out though with the colours.
