A few trees but all seen with plenty of mistletoe living in the the branches . Seen at Fetcham Church and there has been mistletoe growing there for ages now . Taken back in January so easy to see , now the trees are in leaf it is quite hidden .
Just outside Porthmadog,driving passed the Cob, and looking through the trees over the fields after continuous rainfall and stormy weather, and extremely high tides.
Water can be seen almost everywhere.

Took a look up on the weekend to see where all the pollen was coming from- it was almost like snow streaking my lens! The treetops are greening up.
I have seen and photographed these birds in Sri Lanka (around lake margins). However, this is my first sighting of one in Thailand and my first sighting of one at the top of a tree - an Asian openbill stork (anastomus oscitans) photographed in Ao Nang. This is an old gum tree that I walk past every day on my walk - not sure how long it's been around, but most of the gums i this area were planted in the early 1900's, so she must be close to a hundred years old, if not older.
I have currently got six different versions of this shot, with six different treatments, and in the end, I have gone with the original! Apart from the triptych, this is how it came out of the camera, so I guess that one shouldn't mess too much with nature!

Winter on the Queensland Gold Coast is marked by clear weather so this cloud front provides a special treat. Sunsets are often obscured by the spine of ranges running north-south just inland from the coast. So the occasional sunset is seen over treetops. This point of view is from the easternmost range looking out over the Springbrook Plateau. The golden glow tints the trees and mists of the hinterland.
