Looking up through the chartreuse Maple Tree blossoms...:)
Have a wonderful day!...:)
I couldn’t sleep again today so I figured I may as well go out and shoot some early morning photos. I think I captured the brilliant colors of the sun rising behind these sand dunes along the shore of Lake Michigan perfectly :)

If you don't know about Milton S. Hershey's story, I'd highly recommend reading about his life. He was a very selfless man who built an amazing trust fund that will never run out. Many children that come from a low income household can receive a great education for free through this school and then through scholarships many have their entire college bill paid for once they graduate from highschool. His selflessness gave so many people jobs even throughout the drought-ed times of the major depression.
The students here are given the opportunity to live adequately where they otherwise wouldn't have been able to have a sufficient place to sleep or food to eat every night after a regular day of school. All students live in a large house with house parents and go to school on this magnificently landscaped campus.
I drove around between jobs tonight and found a spot to shoot a few of the many beautifully lit trees. The grounds go on for miles and you could definitely get lost if you don't know your way around.

Just dropped the window and took these from my car :-)
Taken at dawn at the river Tay near Stanley. One in a series that I think catch the feeling of paintings by Vallette.

Hi all, three separate shots merged together in photo shop. I never did this before and enjoyed creating a fictional image.
The three images used straight from the camera are below in the comments section. All images taken using Sigma 28-300 F3.5-6.3 DG Macro lens.
Please feel free to comment.
Back in early February, when I was fishing the Rouge River in Oregon and touring down the coast, a friend took me a bit off the beaten path to the Jedediah Smith State Park. It was really neat, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. And leaving Alaska in mid-winter to go to someplace this green with massive trees was awesome.
