I love trees and fall colors they work so well together.
Using the Nikon 85MM F/1.8G prime lens and Nikon D810 shows the detailed results. Amazing, clean.

One more from Tuesday morning, I loved the light pouring in from behind this set of trees so I crouched low to isolate them from the fields beyond.
There was just not enough room to back off to get all of this tree in the shot. Which was a shame as it was quite imposing and dominating its neighbours as we walked past. This shot taken at 16mm was the widest I could go, but still, the structure and stature is still impressive.
I was taking photos down at the golf course, and then I turned round and saw this - with the sun - and decided to see what would happen...
The title was a problem - to be specific, the spelling of it - so I looked it up!
"In modern English, 'wintry' is the preferred spelling of the adjective meaning of, like, or relating to winter. 'Wintery' has a long history in English, but it has never been the preferred form, and it has no meanings of its own. In 21st-century books, it appears once for approximately every 20 instances of 'wintry'. It is a little more common on the web and in newswriting, though still much rarer than 'wintry'.
There is no evidence that 'wintery' is becoming more common, but the spelling does accurately reflect how many English speakers pronounce the word—that is, with three syllables instead of two—so it may someday gain ground. For now, 'wintry' prevails."

This tree is huge. One of the few left in Minneapolis that still has leaves, amazingly.
iPad Wallpaper #3? Can't quite tell until I try it out firsthand.
This is the one year anniversary of my original tree cozy shot. Since the original was so successful (12,000+ views!) I figured I would milk the sculpture for all it's worth ;) The yarn seems to be holding up very well given the elements in Cleveland.
