A system of urban transit aerial cable cars called Mi Teleférico ('My Cable Car') was opened in 2014. Currently eight lines are in operation, and three more lines are in the planning stage. The initial three lines were built by the Austrian company Doppelmayr. The first two lines (Red and Yellow) connected La Paz with El Alto. All stations have both a Spanish name and an Aymara name.

Here's an example of some commercial photography work I did for a Missouri travel guide. The store is One Canoe Two located in Fulton, Missouri. Beth Snyder owns the business. She has a storefront on Court Street in the "Brick District" in downtown Fulton, but most of her business is done online through her website at 1canoe2.com. She provides her customers with specialty and custom made paper products. Make sure you stop by her shop when in you're in Fulton and visit. I also photographed Beth's wedding years ago too.
The photograph was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV camera with a Canon EF16-35mm f/4L IS USM lens at ƒ/8.0 with a 1/8-second exposure at ISO 100. The processing was done with Adobe Lightroom CC.

I got tagged a while ago by Diana Debord to share 16 facts you may not know about me. Well okay then.
01. When I was in elementary school, I read a lot. Really a lot. Then for some reason, I stopped reading for about 6 years. I started going to the library again when I was an exchange student... and haven't been able to stop reading books, since.
02. I used to be a huge fan of Johnny Depp. His posters were covering my walls and I had a giganormous scrapbook devoted to him. Haaaa. I never was much for boybands etc.
03. I got my ears pierced when I was eleven years old. I kept having problems with them so I let them close. Then when I was maybe fourteen, I had them pierced again; it went fine this time around. I have 2 piercings in my left ear lobe, three in my right earlobe and one in my upper right ear.
04. Oh now this one is unexepected: I started puberty when I was seven. And no, it wasn't without consequences. But everything's fine now :D
05. I took about seven years of ballet.
06. I probably own around 200 books now. That's an estimate and doesn't include textbooks, photobooks or travelguides. I always want more haha.
07. My favourite food? A tie between Italian and Mexican. I love to cook either. I'm not a fan of Dutch 'cuisine' at all. I find the taste to be bland and a Dutch dish is boring to make.
08. My guilty pleasure is all reality tv involving fashion (Stylista, Top Model, etc). Yet I keep telling myself I hate fashion. But I kinda don't. So I'm conflicted. I also enjoy celebrity gossip.
09. The celebrity I admire and like most is Jennifer Garner. She seems like a wonderful mother and a down to earth person.
10. First thing I do when I wake up is hit snooze a few times. Then I go downstairs to fetch a cup of coffee. I need it to function.
11. I'm kind of a phone-phobe. The thought of ringing up anyone makes me incredibly nervous and I need to mentally prepare in order to get it done. I'm comfortable calling Wil and my mom though. Thing is, I'm not a shy person at all. I am extraverted and mingle easily, make friends easily, etc. Just not on the phone.
12. I miss receiving and sending real-life-mail. I love the internet and it's super easy, but it's less personal too.
13. I have the tendency to get really messy. This used to be fine with me, but since a few years I'm annoyed when there's even a little bit of clutter; re-organizing and cleaning up makes me feel good.
14. I've been a vegetarian for 16 years now. Last time I ate meat was on Boxing Day when I was 9. December 26th 1992. And while I think eating meat yes/no is everyone's own choice, I can't help but feel proud of myself for doing this.
15. Sunflower seeds. Love 'em.
16. The Starbucks mug in the picture is one of two bought in Sevilla. Wil and I own 12 Starbucks mugs now. I just really like the design to them, mostly.

With very interesting spots to visit in Bikaner, the city will get back to you old-timers. The excellence of Bikaner is the Thar Desert and the incredibly dazzling brilliant sand hills. This city is brilliant and lively and offers plenty of spots to visit in Bikaner. The rich social legacy is related to Bikaner since its foundation in the year 1488 AD. Rao Bika Ji, a Rajput ruler who was an incredible warrior, built up the city. The city is all around respected for its antiquated sanctuaries, castles and substantially more.

The Japanese Macaque is the most northerly-living non-human primate, living in mountainous areas of Honshū, Japan. It survives winter temperatures below -15 °C (5° F), and is perhaps most famous for the amount of time it spends relaxing in naturally heated volcanic hot springs.
The Jigokudani Yaenkoen park opened in 1964 and since then many thousands of people from around the world have visited the park to observe the lifestyle of the Japanese Macaque
The park is located in the Yokoyu River valley, which flows down from Shiga Kogen. At an elevation of 850 meters, the area is called Jigokudani ("Hell's Valley") due to the steep cliffs and hot water steaming out from the earth's surface. It's also a fairly harsh environment in winter with snow on the ground for a third of the year, but it is also a paradise for the couple of hundred monkeys that live there. We're lucky too, because we can enter their world and watch them enjoying themselves. Watching the monkeys play, take a leisurely onsen - or even swim in the onsen - is a lot of fun. All the time the monkeys basically just ignore their human watchers and just get on with whatever it is they want to be doing.
If you are in the Nagano area, a visit to see the monkeys of Jigokudani is highly recommended.

Gröna Lund amusement park has been around since 1883, when the main attraction was a horse-powered carousel, but today’s attractions are a bit more spectacular. There are several roller coasters, a freefall tower and much more.
Tivoli Gröna Lund amusement park is one of Sweden’s most visited attractions. It is located on the island of Djurgården, not far from the Vasa Museum, and offers over 25 rides for young and old, as well as stage events such as concerts and theatre, and exhibitions.

An unusually plain cover for an Imperial Airways guide this and not carrying the 'Speedbird' logo or the company's name. It was issued in 1938 with the jingoistic "Empire" air services in full swing and describes the web of routes south from Alexandria across Egypt, Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Tanganyika Territory, Northern & Southern Rhodesia and into South Africa. As well as the 'trunk route' it also describes the connecting services in many of these countries including the services from Khartoum to Nigeria and the Gold Coast that flew across the French territories. The associated airlines for these services included Rhodesia & Nyasaland Airways, Wilson Airways and South African Airways.
The guide gives detailed descriptions of the country flown over, with route maps, and the towns served as well as details of issues such as local currency.
