In Boca Raton with a head cold, I did my best to get out of my hotel room and experience the scene. I was a bit concerned when my usual sources of local information--waiters and waitresses--were steering me toward malls so I resorted to yelp. Among the places recommended was The Seed Boca.
It being too hot outside for coffee, I opted for the Green Magic smoothie with the intent that it knock out my cold.
It knocked a hole in my wallet instead at $11.00.
Visited the Holy City of Makkah with Sajjad Haider for Umrah and witnessed the miracle and blessings of Almighty ALLAH. Best Days Ever !!

Stayed in Fairmont Makkah Royal Tower, performed Umrah and prayed Juma Prayer in Masjid Al-Haram and witnessed the Thunderstorm in Makkah. ALLAH U AKBAR.

I had originally intended to travel through the Okanagan Valley--which various people had recommended visiting. But when I got to Kelowna, I cut off on another road before I got to the heart of the valley. My rationalization was that I would cut 30-50 km from my trip; the monotonous views of Okanagan Lake leaving me to forget the reason why I was travelling this far south in the first place. Then I remembered and spent the rest of the afternoon kicking myself for so easily forgoing the "goal" I had set up for myself for no really good reason at all. I actually stopped twice on the side of the road to consider whether I should double back.
I did not.
Instead, I continued to make my way south, then east, splurging for a Ramada Inn in Grand Forks to sleep off my cold.
The next day I continued east, before turning north through Slocan--the Gateway to the Valhallas--and Nakusp.
