Another test. The resolution of this model is quite low so the interpolated normals look a bit patchy.
Displayed as packaged. Translucent colors: red, clear, smoke, teal, yellow, blue, dark green, light green, orange.
These images are all about playing with translucency. The leaf has been placed on a piece of glass put between two tressles. A soft box is used to illuminate the leaf from below, with metering for the light, not the leaf.
I have had a lot of fun with these and will now try a few different scenarios.

This little plaque made from the Stratford 6-50 porcelain show some translucency where thin. The glaze is the BPØ base with an addition of 2% black stain #6616.
Fired initially around cone 6 and refired at cone 06 at Concordia, the firings were a little cooler than they would have been in my own studio.
It interests me that the translucency survives the refiring.
