A row of Metro transit buses queued for the light after collecting riders at one of the major transfer points on 6th Street in downtown Saint Paul. The 74A at the head of the pack will be heading to the 46th Street Blue Line station via Randolph Ave and Highland Park, behind is the 54 which will make a straight shot for the Mall of America once it turns onto West 7th St, and finally a 21 at the rear which will eventually find its way to the Uptown Transit Center in Minneapolis after a cruise along Selby, a swing by the Midway shopping area on University, and a crawl along Lake Street.

Took this image in the early morning of August, the 8th in 2015 as the only image of this continous shooting burst, where the moon completely covers the plane. I was out there, because of the clear sky, the moon beeing full and its proximity these days. I'm always aware of the possibility that a plane could 'hit' it. Therefor it is not that big a deal, but nevertheless it is quite tricky to keep the moon disk within the picture. At a 35mm focal length equivalent of 2400mm, the picture diameter is only 1°. To gather this focal length I took the f8.0/500mm telephoto lens (glass not mirror, a Beroflex derivative which we are used to call "Wundertüte" with a 72mm filter thread) and two additional teleconverters, one 2x and another 1,6x MD-MA Sigma converter in a row. All together second hand stuff from the early eighties for spending money. Don't be fooled by the 50mm exif information, that is just because of the MD-MA converter, which brings in this data.

Acquired from Lowland Scottish in 1993 this ECW bodied Daimler Fleetline CRG6LXB registered KSX 703N was new in 1975 to Scottish Omnibuses numbered DD703. Here is is seen awaiting scrap by Dunsmore in a yard at Westwood near West Calder.
