CFL 4014, Manternach (ligne Wasserbillig - Luxembourg), 05 Février 2018.
Plusieurs fois par semaine, un train du transporteur LANUTTI circule entre Anvers et l’Italie, très reconnaissable avec ses remorques vertes. Il y a une bonne décennie maintenant, j’avais l’occasion de croiser régulièrement son chemin sur la Ligne 3 en France, avant qu’il ne préfère un itinéraire plus « économique » par Cologne et la vallée du Rhin Allemande jusque Bâle. Avec le début de l’année 2018, le train voit son parcours modifié, et transite désormais par le Luxembourg et CFL CARGO jusqu’à la frontière Suisse. Un nouveau parcours qui aura été de très courte durée, puisqu’il retrouvera son ancien itinéraire dès la fin du Printemps… Avec un horaire de passage très matinal dans le sens aller, et au milieu de la nuit dans le sens retour, il n’était que très difficilement photographiable dans mon secteur, particulièrement en cette période de l’année, mais on pouvait malgré tout compter sur quelques retards « récurrents » facilitant les photos… Comme ce 5 Février, avec un bon 12h de retard au compteur, et une lumière de feu alors que le convoi passe devant le village de Manternach.

The sun breaks through the rain to shine on an MCI bus of Santa Clarita Transit in downtown Los Angeles. In the background is the old postal terminal annex, and behind that the MTA headquarters building.
Saulog transit route is Western Luzon which explains their line from Cavite all the way to Olongapo and Baguio. This is a Fuso unit.
It's been a while since I had a Friday F unit post and I missed Canada Day so this will hit both of those. Memorial Day weekend 1978 I went to a college buddy's wedding near Syracuse and then joined several cars from Cleveland for the end of the long weekend. Fortunately friends Dave McKay and Al Clum knew a lot of shots and we bounced around town picking them off. This is an eastbound GO train approaching the Guildwood stop. In those days the club house of the Scarborough County Club made a nice backdrop. #900 was originally an FP7A built for the ONT in 1951 rebuilt as a cab control car.

In October, 1989, twenty Bayline liveried Ford Transits made a lengthy train journey from Exeter to Perth where Stagecoach would use them as competitive tools. They went in two batches. On 2nd October, 657 (C657 FFJ) leads the pack. These were the days before Health & Safety and I stood on the track to take this shot - nor was I wearing Hi Viz.
The Full Moon is beautiful tonight, seen here over the Space Coast of Florida at 8:46pm (ET) as the International Space Station and its crew of 7 passed overhead.
Traveling @ ~17,500mph, it took less than 3/4 sec for the ISS to transit the face of the Moon.
