A two door Galaxie Station Wagon.
Based on the '70 Galaxie Standard, this SW is just a imagination work, done with the help of Photoshop. At first, I wanted to do a hardtop SW, that would use the same doors and windows of the '66 Galaxie two door hardtop. After a litthe tought, I decided to part from this idea, and do a pillared two door, with a "C" column that resembles the inclination of the Fastaback Galaxie's "C" column, but without the slight curve, and a little more to the back. I tried to do a SW with slim columns, to make it look very aired and ample from inside.
The "D" column has nothing to do with a regular '66 SW, and helps giving this custom bodyed Galaxie a true "Custom" look. I believe I'm gonna do a hardtop wagon, but the "C" column wil need to be a little beefier to compensate the lack of a "B" column.

This transformation shows how inversing the clerestory space would affect the layout of the interior, resulting in a feeling of being pushed out of the house verses contained within it. The new negative clerestory space would still allow for natural light, but also would disconnect the clerestory relationship between public and private.
