Walking over a footbridge in Bushy Park Gardens, I was intrigued to see how the reflection of a leafless tree appeared to become foliated and in bloom thanks to a water plant in the stream below.
Sleek streamlined metallics merging with blocky bright monoliths…Energy …. Light!

“When scattered clouds are resting on the hills, it seems as if one might climb into the heavenly region, the earth being so intermixed with the sky, and gradually transformed into it.”
Nature is slowly transforming, becoming something better and brighter even though it is through cold and darkness
Are you ready to let go? It feels like winter already but I’m still not quite ready to let go of these few summer months we had! What do you think?
In winter season, peanuts, roasted in the shell, are available and are a popular winter snack. They are imported from several African countries, or the U.S.
During eating some peanuts, I had the idea to show the interesting details of this fruit.
Worth photographing? A dark, mundane backstreet scene. And when I see the picture it evokes different thoughts and feelings from when I was there, photographing. Reality differs from its representation (the photo). This is the transformative power of photography. Sometimes it happens, even when I am photographing straight on, editing straight forward.
Kindness is like snow- It beautifies everything it covers.

In winter, even a jumble of ugly weeds can be transformed into a thing of beauty. I simply softened this image and treated it to a complementary vignette.

I think I didn't tell you the story of my new girl, another Mia (Winter Vacation)!
For those of you that don't know, my first Mia (Witch of the Note) really like animals. She usually feed some during her woodland walks. In particular, this bunny. Eventually, she deciced to use her power as a witch to transform it into a real girl and here is the result! The new girl still has some features of rabbit, though.
BTW, I made the picnic table ^_^
This is the ugliest bridge in Prague… grey Beton bridge presses heavily to the nice houses… the sunset rays change and transform it to the beautiful gold Line stretching the sky …

Magnolia grandiflora (Southern magnolia)
As the world sometimes is. Here, on behalf of the Greek ministry of culture and antiquity, a craftsman is restoring an ancient capital that Ottoman builders had used when they built a large portico in front of the Rotunda in Thessaloniki. The Rotunda is a Roman building of around 300 AD and in many ways comparable to the Pantheon in Rome. After "paganism" had been outlawed and Christianity made the state religion of the Roman Empire, the Rotunda became a church. The Ottomans converted it into a mosque. Today, it is one of Thessaloniki's most important monuments, still called Hagios Georgios, but a secular museum in fact. I am not sure whether "progress" is the appropriate word here, and I am even less sure whether the last word has been spoken as to the usage of this remarkable space.
