On February 23-25, 2012, the Professional Development department hosted the Basics of Transactional Practice Academy in Chicago for 37 first-year associates from the Corporate and Securities, Finance, Franchise and Distribution, Government Affairs, Real Estate and Trademark, Copyright and Media practice groups. Nearly 40 lawyers and staff from around the firm provided interactive presentations and discussed trends and lessons learned in their particular practice area.
SIOR Chicago recently presented the 17th Annual Chapter Awards in a presentation held on February 26, 2019 at Gene and Georgetti's in Rosemont, IL.
The program is designed to honor the organization’s prestigious Platinum Sponsors and SIOR members who completed transactions within the Chicago Chapter or with a Platinum Sponsor. In total, 38 SIOR members and 15 Platinum Sponsors completed 134 cooperative transactions totaling approximately $1 billion.
