This business transaction notepad was also found in the Washington Street Chest. This book, entirely in Arabic, is from the 1920s. These business transactions would of been catered to other merchants, peddlers, and individual consumers located throughout the world. This book in particular shows the beautiful Arabic script from almost one hundred years ago in Lower Manhattan.
On February 23-25, 2012, the Professional Development department hosted the Basics of Transactional Practice Academy in Chicago for 37 first-year associates from the Corporate and Securities, Finance, Franchise and Distribution, Government Affairs, Real Estate and Trademark, Copyright and Media practice groups. Nearly 40 lawyers and staff from around the firm provided interactive presentations and discussed trends and lessons learned in their particular practice area.

This project was commissioned to provide a artistic transaction window for an office. These are some of the "in progress" photos...note too good ones either. The window is made of various sashes and types of glass, including stained glass, light covers, signs, mirrors, textured glass, beveled glass etc... There is a door in the center made of an old casement window. The trim was glazed gold and pewter and stained with asphaltum. All the wood was reclaimed from old yellow pine bleacher boards from a gymnasium. The glass was all gotten from deconstruction and salvage and a bit of junk picking.
The project is done and installed... looks really cool clean and in natural light, as opossed to the fluorescent light of the shop. better photos to come.

SIOR Chicago recently presented the 17th Annual Chapter Awards in a presentation held on February 26, 2019 at Gene and Georgetti's in Rosemont, IL.

On Ebay, I paid vipergtstwinturbo $20 each for what he advertised as two "BRAND NEW" Dish Network Dish Pro Plus LNBFs, plus $1.99 each for shipping. This is what I received.
What you see is what I got when I opened my package of two "NEW" DP Plus LNBFs from vipergtstwinturbo.
As any Dish Network retailer, installer or technician will tell you (call 800-333-3474 for confirmation), all NEW Dish Network LNBFs are gray, as is the LNBF in the left of this photo.
Dish Network LNBFs turn green due to aging and exposure to sunlight.
The "new" LNBF which appears green is far from new.
For comparison, I have added $22 of greenbacks in the photos. If they look money-green in the photos you see, then you are seeing the actual color of the LNBFs, too.

As I said, I have never dealt with this Ebay seller before or since. When I bought the items on Ebay, I paid immediately with PayPal, $43.98, and what you see here is what I got.
What I "got" was screwed and a wacky response from someone who must think Ebay buyers are suckers who pay to empty his garbage can, so read carefully the negative feedbacks this guy vipergtstwinturbo has received, and imagine all the people who didn't bother to show their disgust with this seller.
